what to buy for a girl for their birthday!??

hello all, so right its Mrs.buffnstuffs birthday in a few weeks.... i dont have a clue what to get her or what to do? she seems so content in what she already has and does!
what do you people buy/do for your significant others then?

Are you married? Dating? Just started seeing each other? That does have an impact. Here are my general ideas
- "movie night" theme: popcorn, hot chocolate mix, a couple of good movies
- homemade cookies or chocolates!
- tickets to an event she'd like to go to
- framed photograph of the two of you
- make her a delicious homemade meal of all her favourite things

depending what she's into:
- a new camera
- DVDs or video games
- clothes (or even a gift certificate - do NOT give this alone though, pair it with something)
- cell phone

"it wasn't my idea. i couldn't think of anything so i just posted on a message board for junkies and chose a suggestion from some stranger..."

op, you know her better than anybody here. surely you can think of something she's told you or something you've done together which inspires a thoughtful idea?

Nope, I honestly cant think of owt, hence why I resorted to 'asking the junkies' ;-) just looking for ideas for inspiration you know? My minds blank on things like that, just filled with dmt,bzp,pma,lsd,mdma,amt,5meo-dalt...... Lol
 
Women seem to enjoy flowers. I would probably go with chocolate though.

I suppose this all depends on how well you know the girl. There must be something that she has expressed an interest in that you can surprise her with; a favorite movie or musical artist, eatery, etc.
 
Make/create 'something' it doesn't matter if it looks / tastes / feels like shit - the thought behind it counts more. Whats your budget? Get some of her nice foods / bottle of wine (or beers / spirits / soda) lay out a piknic (that you have made [doesn't matter if you ordered a take away but dish it up nice [[plate etc]]) blanket at home / park / uni / beach and just tell her how much you love her! Flowers never go wrong but I would much rather spend that money on her fave food / drink that you can both 'share'.


If your GF is working with other women then forget the above - simply send her a bunch of flowers! The simple fact of her being able to think 'Screw you I'm loved more than you' = WIN!

lol shes hosting an Ann Summers party on saturday night iv given her a £100 and told her to buy something nice and suprise me.... oh how i pray to god its not a dildo, big or small! it aint going in me! :/
 
Buying or crafting something uniquely relative to her is a good place to start. Use that brain of yours.
 
Alasdair.... Woah woah woah! The ann summers thing is completely unrelated to her birthday, the ann summers doo is on saturday, her birthdays in a month. I was just saying because someone said bout a dildo! Lol im not that bad! Haha

Haha bumped thread but still... what to get as a gift is a classic question.

For Christmas, my bf got me a gift certificate for a massage and tickets to the aquarium. Very sweet. He also got me a chair for my desk last year. Very thoughtful! I thought those were nice gifts :) Sometimes your s/o might be hinting about what he or she wants and you just kinda pick up on it.
