Hi EMD,

I was fishing through my old CDs to play something in the car (my car only has a cd player, and most of my CDs are at work... yes, I still mainly have music on CDs).

I found this old cd that I forgot about. It was was speed garage, and i don't remember where I got it or what the dj set was like (some speed garage is pretty bad, but its one of my favorite genres). I am SOOOOO glad i listened to it. It was fantastic! Super whompy, great basslines, and they weren't songs I recognized, which is great, as many speed garage djs play the same played-out tracks over and over.

Its from 2004, a speed garage promo mix by Lucas Wade. I am burning this sucker and mailing CDs to my friends!

Anyways, what old mix/old CD/old tape did you re-discover recently that made you groove/rock out/smile like an idiot? Post away.

my MuppetFucker/NoahFX HHC(amazingly done) tape, he only had one side on it(twist-1 on flip) just bliss(Austin TX). my DJ partner at the time, found the tape in the console said"wtf is this shit lol how did it get here" and threw it out the window onto the intestate....

and, chris anderson/dj bizz Chemical Records first tape release(HoustonTX)

annnd yes, the speed-garage - a simple odd 'demo type' mix cd, called "speed garage white labels"
i really really miss some song called "i believe" - ive spent many hours searching for that track, or cd.

and, Lord Vishnu A-side, Siren B-side... amazing Purring Lion crew mix (ATX/HTX)

i still have my other mixtapes, hehe, put away... i should probably digitize them.
my dj Fingaaaz tape is a GEM:-)

oh, i meant others mix tapes...

my mixes are online or XHD, 5 macs, 3 pcs, MiniDisk, and cds.

buuuut
;-)

i have a megalithic psy mix, thats 2h:45m that breaks down into 1.5 hours, or 55 minutes, and 2 house, a 3 deck DnB(3 TT's is o m g yes!!!), 2 monster DnB mixes.
(id almost always wrap up at 53-61 minutes heheh)

its all very outdated now, lol, but one day ill plop those out - distribute to random small random record-shops anywhere.

i would trust youhehe, but, that said ''partner'' eventually started lifting ideas.
he hit stop on our friends live performances, in the middle of a blend. this recording was for Metal-Heads if you are familiar... n/m the $2k,,, im sure what happened after that, how he explained that shit to them... he really deserved the recognition, an amazing dj; again he stopped communicating with us so IDK if was able to retain his status with the label.

makes me nausea's
fukN haters man...lol

DJ DB - Acid Rain

Tape i bought from someone selling tapes on the street in the early 90's. Not sure if it's actually him as he usually doesn't play acid but it's killer either way.

Gatecrasher Forever from like 2006 - I was listening to my friends copy the other day and just had to order one for me!!
