what music do you guys like here? it seems like almost everyone listens to EDM or dubstep here...not to many people into classic rock which is personally my fave...some creedence beatles zepplin or pink floyd is great while high! i like a little hip hop, but most Mac Miller. his new album is great when smoking weed or tripping, very psychedelic in nature. i listened to it on some brownies and robo tripping and it was intense! so whats your go to tunes when smoking or otherwise high
 
reggae is good in most situations lol. That's why i said that first. Those rock bands you mentioned are pretty awesome too
 
I listen to tech-house. When I'm high, sober, doesn't matter. That is the music for me!!
 
I'm all about EDM, but also greatly respect and appreciate classic & prog rock as well as metal and hip hop.

Recently I've really been digging the uk future garage movement.
 
theres already a thread on this topic called the music & drugs thread, which i'm too fucked up to try and find right now.

I like The Brian Jonestown Massacre when I'm really stoned. Also Pixies, Sonic Youth, Tom Waits, etc.
 
i tried finding something along those lines and couldnt find anything...oh well...is Brian Jonestown Massacre similar to sonice youth or pixies? never heard of them
 
Up and rowdy, drunk or nostalgic: dirty punk rock of late 90s Seattle like Zeke, Gas Huffer, Super Suckers, also gotta love Turbonegro.

Up and tripping: Standard issue EDM for hippies.
Down and dissasociated and tripping, or just before bed: ambient, esp melancholy guitar based and textural stuff like Boris (when dude aint singing) Colleen, Stars of the Lid:

And nothing wrong with the classic rock at any time, esp if you got company a group of good Friends tripping out on Floyd or Rush is still great.
 
^ same here for some reason im inclined to enjoy any kind of rock music, doesnt matter if its slow or super fast. Psychedelic, progressive, doom, sludge, even punk. Anything with heavy distortion and dirty fuzz, grime and sorta of like that guitar noise that radiates and flows like its floating thru the sky in different directions idk

and i like colleen too.
