What is this?

Greetings all, I hope this is the appropriate board to post this in.

There is something in Melbourne, Australia being sold as speed, however it's not methamphetamine.

Can anyone help me identify it? Both the marquis and mandelin tests showed rapid smoking, but no colour change.

My best guess is that it's methcathinone. Subjectively, it feels a lot like methamphetamine but quite mellow.

Any thoughts?

when i was in melbourne last i got offered some capsules and the contents looked exactly the same as your pic, and my test results where the same, so yer id love to know what was in it aswell. Got me stumped, the chick said they were orsum but after the test results i didnt bother with them

Looks to me like it might be Piperazine. Load of stuff in UK like that. Effects such as feeling speedy and being awake for 16 hours makes me think that it's prob a mixture of Pipes - BZP, TMFPP or similar. Best left well alone. Just to rub in the humiliation, probably costs the supplier a couple of dollars/gram, and they sell it for the going market rate for MDMA.

yes mate im with you there most likely a pip blend cheap as chips and sold as something with a more known name,practically all pills in the uk are pip based blends,very easily sold as pills but not sure how its ended up being sold like that,just a dealer trying something new?i personally dont mind pips,lasts longer than phet and a less emotional comedown,just tires and hungover,prob cos youve been dancing 10 hours str8...lolanother possibilitie is pip mixed with 4mmc or mdpv relatives thers so many raw chemical stimulants that can be made by a kitchen chemist and knocked out on the street as mdma or phet....man whats goin on?
