I don't know if any of you have recieved this as well, but look what was in my mailbox:

    Author on TV 2 weeks ago on Good Morning America. I had to go out and
    buy this book. This guy knows all about the drug and the scene… What
    was really super cool about this
    guy was that he is liked by everyone including government officials and
    also
    our beloved rave community. He says it how it is, and the book is the
    real deal. There is still hope ya all that our scene will stay
    alive!!!! Yahooooooooo!!!
    In my opinion, this book shall keep our scene alive forever….Keep it

Grr.. I dunno.. it just kinda pissed me off - like this is the last thing that should be solicited - especially through random emailing!!! Unless of course I was the only person who got this, in which case... hehe sorry.
And it's very possible that this girl gets absolutely nothing for promoting this book. Still, is this right?
Any thoughts?

I suppose you're right. Spam is spam, just this one was imparticularly annoying because it disguised itself as non spam! Pretending to be a "fellow raver" to sell something.. that's like me strapping on a dildo and trying to sell Viagra! Ok so marketing is marketing, but you can get completely naked on television because of something we know as tact. I think the same principle applies here.
 
I got it 4 times.... And I'll tell you what, 4 was the magick number that made it kick ass!!!

I posted an email in the Pill Report forum saying how off the hhok red micro-dots were and I got an email fron a [email protected]
saying, "Do you think you could get some more?" I wrote back and asked "And you are?" And the reply had her name and said she was from SW Florida and ended with, get this, "just another junkie I suppose"...My response was "Sorry, I am not a junkie, or a dealer, or stupid enough to send drugs through the mail to someone I don't even know." CRAZINESS!!!! Watch out for people!!

Yeah I got one of those stupid ass letters. It also says that he is well respected by government officials. My thoughts are who gives a fuck about the book or the author.
