It doesn't necessarily have to be a comedy, for example, it could be a movie that is so bad that it's funny.

Tropic Thunder is the clear winner for me. That movie is so freakin hilarious and well executed, almost every single scene can elicit a laugh from me, which is impressive because it takes a lot to get a genuine laugh out of me. I think 95% of comedies are absolute trash. I could watch it a million times and it would still have me laughing so hard my stomach hurts. And the fact that it's a meta comedy making fun of cinema itself is just great.

Honorable mentions for runner-ups go to Bad Santa, The Hangover, Pineapple Express, Superbad, This is the End, and Blazing Saddles. Also a shoutout to Leslie Nielson comedies. Joe Dirt doesn't make the list, but I love that movie as well for other reasons.

If you liked the first one for being really dark, the Bad Santa 2 is even darker. It's also funny, but doesn't really innovate anything after the first one, it's just more of the same. They throw in more jokes per scene, but it's not as good as the first.

don't remeber man...many...but it comes to mind "Friday"....also first time watchin"Trainspotting"....lot of laugh i rembaq in cinema

I forgot about Friday, that whole series is great!

Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood is also good, even the title is hilariously long.

Maaan, I got these cheeseburgers maaaan :ROFLMAO:

Me, Myself, and Irene is way up there for sure.

Tommy Boy, another classic.

speaking of movies with titles like bad santa, there is some movie from the 70's or 80's that seemed kind of like a politically correct movie that would be cancelled now days. i saw the trailer while linked on you tube from Killer Clowns from Outer Space and Puppet Masters and i remember a santa claus suit person in a bunch of action situations.. i was going to order the movie cause it looked so bad. i totally forgot the name though. i can't find anything doing google searches and it's not getting recommended when i you tube the stuff i was looking for before. it definitely wasn't a very popular movie.

bad horror movies don't even make me laugh though, even though i consider them funny... it's kind of unclear what makes me laugh.. but i know i definitely laugh at some stuff. i remember laughing in specific way recently about the cut-a-way on family guy where stewie is riding a muppet bicycle with long legs and he's like "Stewey long legs just blew your mind." as far as movies, i think the quote from clerks "try not to suck any dick on the way to the parking lot" is pretty funny, just the jealousy and it's so bad. clerks is definitely a funny movie... i don't know if i really laugh at a lot of it. like sometimes stuff is funny in a non-laughing way but it's interesting. i definitely laugh sometimes watching cartoons or sometimes even a bit different laugh for stuff that's bad. i kind of like cute stuff though, like stewie on family guy in some of the situations they put him in.

I don't know about my favorite, and there have been a lot of good ones mentioned already, but some that come to mind:
The first half of "Parasite" ( and then it gets massively tragic)
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
There's Something about Mary
Young Frankenstein

anything with jim carrey. i remember seeing dumb & dumber at the theatre & the scene of him eating the hamburger with the hot peppers made me CRY. my favs are Bridesmaids, horrible bosses & the change-up.
