What is heavy use to you?

Ok so i have noticed that wat some people consider heavy marijuana others consider that a wake and bake. What i want to know is how much you consider heavy use. I dont want this to be a dick sizing thread so dont think just cuz you smoke more that anyone really cares.
 
I know I've been using heavily when seconds after my blunt goes out or my bong is cashed I'm immediately convincing myself to roll/pack another one throughout the day.

When I'm in one of those kind of moods then I'm smoking constantly for however long I can manage to keep some herb in my pocket. Sometimes it'll be days, for real. That's just too much of doing nothing for me. :\
 
^^ Im the same way if its my weed. If someone else has it i can hold off untill they want to smoke another one. My use really depends on my friends and family. Yesterday for example i smoked a gram between a friend and I. Later that day my other friend bought a gram and we rolled it up into a jay and smoked it. So i pretty much smoked a gram. But today i have not smoked at all. But i know a friend will hit me up soon enough
 
heavy use
weed: wake n bake, bowl after breakfast, another bowl before and after lunch, another sesh arond 5 or 6, a bowl before dinner, and the grand finale before bed. then restart the next day.

heroin: well cant swallow, piss, shit, or keep eyes open or anything but nodd.
 
3-4g's a day is pretty heavy use for me. 1-2g's is moderate, and less than a gram a day i'd consider light use.
 
heavy use:
when you hit plateau and can't get high anymore and you keep smoking every other hour chasing the high
 
Trying to spend more than a third of your waking life high is heavy use. That's about the point at which the diminishing returns start to go negative and smoking more is worse for your happiness overall.

A similar "third" rule can be used for alcohol, if you accept the postulate that 1 drink lasts for 1 hour.

The term "abuse" only comes into play when it starts to play negatively into other parts of your life.
 
i smoke with other people but my answer still stays the same. usually everyone i smoke with matches so if i blow thru an 8th of my own shit in a day blazing with a bunch of heads id be willing to bet i still took 3.5 to the dome, if not more. for a while all we'd do is sit around and smoke weed. all day, everyday. tolerance goes up pretty quick like that, for me i was smoking just to not feel shitty for a while.

i save the blunts for the weekends now. try to keep it to maybe 2-3 small bowls(maybe .5 total) a day. .5 a day feels a lot better on the lungs and stm too..
 
depending on potency, method of smoking, etc.

Heavy use: Smoking on a consistent basis, wake and bake, and every hour or so. If you are smoking more than 2 grams a day of B-A grade cannabis, you are not only wasting your money/time and effort, but you are abusing cannabis. You will start to see negative side effects if you smoke this much.

It doesn't matter to me how much you are smoking as everyone has a differing tolerance level, but moreover, how often you are smoking. It doesn't matter if it "gets in the way" of things - that's call priorities... we're talking heavy use/ abuse here. To clarify: if you are smoking daily, several times each day, this is heavy use, overkill, and clear abuse. Generally this will eventually equate to 3 grams of headies a day (to yourself, not shared, so do the math yourself).

It's not hard to tell when you are using something as a crutch - this is what I would consider abuse or heavy use. Daily smoking =/= heavy use IMO.
 
Heavy use to me would be the point of coughing up actual matter often. So something like 4+ sessions, bowls or joints a day, where you literally are stoned every waking hour.
 
heavy use warning signs-

-literally cannot get high (except if the wake and bake is a giant hit)
-have smoked resi when fiendin
-no weed = no meals (went 3 days once... wow i felt fucked)
- if you smoke weed like most people drink coffee or smoke cigs.
-constant cravings, even while taking a hit
