what in the fuck??? worms in my weed????

hey, i got some cannabis lastnight [looks like some mexican weed, its kinda dark and has a type of mexicanweed type smell to it] and i smoked a blunt even though i wasnt wanting to...i dont really like blunts because of the tobacco n shit.. but i smoked it and the weed was fine, but today when i got home i was about to load a bowl, and looked at my tray where the stems n seeds are, and there was a little white worm with an orange head crawlin around on my tray.

what the hell is up with this weed?

is it okay to smoke it without smoking millions of little worms in it?

im going to breakup/destem n deseed it and make sure theres not any more worms crawlin around in it while waiting for responces to this thread
 
^I'm sure it's fine if there isn't more worms there. How do you know the worm was from the weed, anyways? I don't really understand how worm in ashtray + stems in ashtray = worms in weed, but I could be missing something.

Anyways, nice thread title.
 
well im thinking the worm came from the stems/little bit of weed in my tray [its the bud breakin up tray, not the ash tray] because along time ago i was cleanin under my couch once up in my old bedroom and i found a tray with some stems on it with a little amount of ganja in on it and i was like "cool, some weed" n i hadnt smoked in awhile and right as i mived the stems around i saw a worm or hella tiny catapillar like thing that looks identical to the one i seen on my tray today.

i just went n got some gas for my car, so i couldnt breakup the cannabis and see if theres anything else in it, but im gunna do that now.

no, the worm wasnt purple or somethin, it was just like...plain white. and the head was actually orange...almost bright orange.. if was fucking strange. i took a paper and got the little shit to climb on it and just long enough for me to twist the paper and stuff it in an empty water bottle and put in the trash. i just looked in the bottle and he climbed out of the paper and he looks like hes about 1/4 of an inch long.
 
I would have no problem smoking weed with worms in it(no worms in the actual spilff). I left my tobacco tin open which had grass and resin in it. I left the room and fell asleep watching tv, the next morning there was a slug in the tray with bits of grass and some resin stuck to it...pretty gross, had to stop myself from scraping the cannabis off the wee shite.
 
i hate slugs sooooo much

not cos they're "gross" or anything, just cos they eat my precious babies :(
 
ahem, i'm a gardener, not just weed, slugs eat everything

including rubber wellingtons

a large one can eat a whole plant (1.5 foot tall with 8 internodes and big leaves)
 
I'd still smoke it, although take care to check for any further worms in the weed.

I too love the thread title. It's like a crazy 'Snakes on a plane' spinoff. You can just imagine Samuel L Jackson peering into his grinder to the shouts of 'motherfucker!'

little fucker is still in there, alive.

i looked and looked and looked and cant find an image of it anywhere on google.

it doesnt have any hairs on it, and its really small and has many little segmented parts...if that makes sence..

sadly i had to draw it on paintshop since theres no pictures of this thing.

...it sortof looks like a maggot with a little head on it..

..and theres no way in hell im eating this thing.

if you hang on to the weed for two weeks you'll know if there are eggs in it =D

Females insert eggs into the bases of differentiating stem tissue in the plant crown or between the leaf sheath and stem from early May through early July. Eggs hatch in one or two weeks and the larvae feed in stems and crowns through September.

sounds gross but i'd still smoke it as long as i didnt see any other bugs or weird shit.. well i mean you can smoke it.. i wouldn't smoke it cause you said it smelled like mexican bud lol
