what happens if you put too much of the liquid? i had 2 different results

i accidently put a few drops on a scraping and it turned brownish to purple, then i took a second scraping and this turned into a dark blue/purple/black, significantly darker than the first test. Is this because it was concentrated in a smaller amount? help!!

at the last party i was at, FLOWER told me the test should only come up brown. i don't know if that helps but i tried. also do you possibly know what was in chicken pox?
 
I have had a flase reading before because the pill was heavily coated. SO I scraped from the inside of the pill and get a better and faster result. I hope this helps.

Brown is definitely not the color that an xtc-like substance produces.
xtc like substances go darkpurple/almost black when tested with the EZ test.
Brown/red is for Speed, herbal E's etc.
