I'm interested in trying taking Magnesium (as a muscle relaxer) and it's really easy to find, you can buy it at a lot of places, but I've heard a lot of these Magnesium pills/supplements are essentially pointless due to them often being forms of Magnesium that are incredibly difficult for the body to actually absorb?

I have the best results from the powdered form not sure if I’m allowed to give you the brand.

Yeah I agree I do it, makes me go to sleep sometimes, it's kind of nuts.

I would say be sure your getting magnesium glycinate and dose it correctly.
Magnesium can give you Hella diarrhea if you take too much.

Magnesium citrate is a laxative people take before they do colonoscopies.

Magnesium citrate is a laxative people take before they do colonoscopies.
Mg-Citrate is a laxative when overdone, as it does get absorbed.
Till a certain ammount of mg. Then its getting laxative.
There also Mg-Malate and Lactate.

But Mg-BisGlycinate is touted best. For muscle cramps !
Why BBB, the Glycine also relaxes, 100% intestinal absorption.
Minimal/ no digestive effects, so can be taken in higher doses.

Mg-Hydro-Oxide is a laxative. Got it as Mg. supplement in DETOX.
Lost 10 Kg. s in weight. Dumbstruck dr s, what do they do before getting
that diploma, bribe teacher s ? With their parent money. Cheat exam s ?

Magnesium-bis-Glycinate or Taurate for BBB,
Glycine and Taurine are calming amino acid s.

Oxide [Hydrogen] and Citrate are more laxative.
Wonder if there is a best for muscle s specific ?

I poop 6 times a day on a good day and up to 37 times a day on a bad day so DEFIFINITELY NO laxative affect please, lol, I might literally die*
Would having it cross the BBB help with anxiety?

*Not that I'd EVER take laxatives as things are, but the specialist did tell me last week that taking laxatives could literally kill me right now, via dehydration/kidney failure or cardiac arrest from electrolyte imbalance

I winced reading that last bit imaging your pain. I accidentally got addicted to Loperamide once (extreme diarrhoea, plus opioid wd on top, I was taking ~38mg Lope a day). When I stopped I got cramps so bad I was crying and was terrified to eat. With that and the rebound-diarrhea, I went from 119lbs to 101lbs in like 15 days.

I wish I could poop that much. Sometimes I think thats my biggest problem. I’m just so full of shit. Seriously.

Opiates cause hella constipation.

I feel so sexy right now

Magnesium Glycinate (sometimes called bi-glycinate): almost 100% absorption
Magnesium L-Threonate (unfortunately is pricey nowadays because the nootropics community): almost 100% absorption as well

Both of these are very good. When L-threonate wasn't so expensive, I found wicked nice nootropics effects from it. I was even able to recall memories I'd spent years trying to recall, it's quite good for brain health. Glycinate is good for muscle relaxant. Nether one have a laxative effect.

Magnesium citrate is also almost completely absorbed. This can make some people a little more regular than they'd like to be, but I personally never really had this experience when I used to eat them in the form of "Calm" gummies, some brand that made 'em. I might even say I've noticed more muscle relaxation and anxiety reduction on citrate than Glycinate. Do note I take kratom daily, so that's likely why citrate isn't really laxative for me.

Each form is a good muscle relaxant though, especially Glycinate (for most people, I might be the odd one out with citrate). Well absorbed magnesium will relax your muscles more anyway. Glycinate can be sedating, and citrate even can be, but not often. For people with restless legs especially, Glycinate is a godsend.

Hope this helps

Well the pain was bareable, the fact that a dr. don t know the difference.
Between the best Mg. supplement and Mg. ment as laxative. That hurt.
The reason not only his total based on Kakalawaka [ 🐄 :poop: ] study & salary.

Choosing the cheapest of cheapest form, without looking for its indication.
Or that he didn t test Mg-Hydro-Oxide on himself, before prescribing.

But the fact he was dumb, not taking responsibility, but blaming other factor s.
Called him in his face a ... , and a insult to his profession.

But my most high intestinal pain, cause Diclofenac prescription a broken arm.
Offer a Opioid, and Miralax. Opioid s don t constipate me. So fuck that last shit.
A good diet works way better ! They don t tell you that in the Hospital, weird ?

Anecdotally, my shitting till Kratom was crap. Obstipation, cramps/ pain, diarrhoea.
And then 5 days nothing. After Kratom, even when i quitted, 2/ 3 x in the morning.
Every day. Exception s when i eat Cow or Animal Milk, result constipation.
Other-way round, Prunes and Red Beet s means power-poop :pooprocket:

I have a (very) rare reaction where opioids (Codeine worst of all) cause mild diarrhoea, so they never constipate me :)

Issue right now is I have total pancreatic failure so I need to be put on Pancreatic Enzyme Replacement

He should have taken Mg-Hydro-Oxide himself, before handing em out.

Good diet won't help me as I completely lack certain digestive enzymes. I was told to eat a high-fat, low-fibre diet until I get on the rights enzyme replacement though (hopefully on Monday).

Didn t raw shit * carry their own digestion enzyme s.
While non soaked Nut s. Deplete the body s supply.
Fibres like Whole Wheat i imagine are painful,
if you digestive system is vulnerable.

* shit: meaning fruit s/ vegetable s

But Beta-Glucanen & Inuline a.o. they are Pre-Biotic s.
Soluble fibres, must they be avoided to ? Pro-Biotic s,
look like they would be good too, but i am no dr. !

Wheat no human food by definition anyway,
certainly after nuking it. A last resort during ice-ages,
they presume, the natural form.

Wondering about the Ketogenic diet, read some
good things about it. Did you ever try it ?

Btw how did Monday go, did it go. Hope so. :heart6:

Once I snorted "gaba powder" from GNC. Do not recommend. I like soy milk for the magnesium.

Magnesium Taurate is my favorite. I had a very bad reaction to Magnesium Glycinate (others have too, not uncommon). I've heard Magnesium Threonate is also great but I've never tried it.
