What is Topimax i know i works on your Gaba recptors and it can be a bit sedative i dont mind it mixing it with my diluadids and xanax but i just want to understand what drug category it falls under and what not, if someone can can give me more answers on this it would be awesome I like learn about drugs that arent that covered or heard about cause there are a few out there that we still dont know about.
its good to know the information abou them before we take them.
cause the the worse could happen sadly RIP to those that it has happen to
also I just would like to know and I dont full understand it I know its a sedative ima poly addict recently quit fentanyl and street drugs just sticking to pills again they always been my style

It's a terrible drug. Makes you stupid as fuck and can fuck up your vision permanently. The feeling is dirtier than benedryl and somehow even worse in "recreational" doses. Only helpful for completely shutting off your brain. Impossible to think, communicate, or control your body, minds, or impulses. Fallen asleep at like 4 family dinners off the shit. Might be good for the world's worst episode of anxiety or bipolar disorder, but other than that, please, please, keep your distance.

meh

i wouldnt i wouldnt say that it actually goes good good with opiois and benzos
Yeah but buddy you typed out "I wouldn't" and "good" twice each. You could be off 200mg DPH and be smarter than off this shit. This drug makes you (and everyone for that matter) a retard. It's very bad for you, all I'm saying. It's mechanism of action isn't fully studied but has something to do with calcium channels and GABA currents afaik. Dirty ass drug and it has lasting mental effects.

Yeah, I don't think I've ever really taken it, if I did, it was like once and I don't remember anything special about it, but I've heard second hand stories about it being a pretty shitty drug.

I don't think it neatly falls into any one category of drug, or mechanism of action, beyond "anticonvulsant" or "sedative". I think it's prescribed off label for mood disorders & bipolar? Given for weird neurological conditions. Alcohol dependence as well. It's a fairly novel drug, not something many people take or know about, but I've heard of some friends being prescribed it.

I don't really know much about what it's like to be dependent on, it's just not something that comes up much, but yeah, there are definitely some nasty possible side effects, and as with any sedative, just gotta watch out for the effects of multiple downers stacking to make you all fucked up.

Let me see what the psyAI bot spits out about it. I gives shoddy info sometimes, fair warning

This is what the drug info bot said about it, definitely with a grain of salt, as it's not perfect

Topiramate is primarily used as an anticonvulsant to treat epilepsy and prevent migraines. It is generally noted for its tolerability and does not typically cause physical dependence or withdrawal symptoms. However, it is important to be aware that topiramate may be associated with depressive symptoms in some individuals. If you have concerns about the effects of topiramate, it's always best to consult with a healthcare professional.

Jesus. I took 125 mg once and had the worst sedative high of my life. And I typically like to feel retarded. This is a different beast though. Similar to drinking on naltrexone, no euphoria, but you're mad stupid. I think 125 is the highest prescription dose at one time. And sorry if I came off as rude but I know what it's like to be stupid off that shit. It's literally almost worse than datura, I would not take it in a lower dose or at all, put you first. What's it for? Migraine? Anxiety? PTSD? Bipolar? Seizures? This has a big effect on wether it's worth it, but there are safer, better options to treat almost, if not, all of its indications. And yeah, it's a miscellaneous anticonvulsant.
