What drug could last for 7 months?

I assume it was PCP or ketamine that me and my friends all did, it lasted for a very long time though it wasn’t like a normal ketamine or PCP. It literally felt like I was dying. It was awful. Nothing about It was enjoyable, it lasted for six or seven months And I know it wasn’t just me having a psychotic episode because other friends tried it with me and they also was fucked up in the head. It felt like a terrible K hole… all we felt was horror and impending doom, extremely high heart rate, and very suicidal tendencies, almost like a very strong dissociative feeling of “the lights are on but nobody is home type of feeling” the person that sold it to us warned us it’ll fuck us up in the head… how could it be possible for something to last that long? could it possibly be mixed? i’ve never heard of someone being fucked up for that long… I was on the verge of checking myself into a mental hospital, it was awful. We didn’t even do that much we prob drank about half a gram. Anyone’s opinions on what happened is appreciated… thankfully i’m doing better now though and so are my friends but we all still wonder how that was possible? I personally think it was PCP cooked together with meth and ketamine all mixed… Obviously I know there’s a lot of “ bad batches” of shit out there nowadays cut with fentanyl, that people are dropping dead over, but this was a totally different nightmare. I never thought a group of 7 friends would all have such a horrible experience of being mentally tortured in the head for months and months on end. I honestly wish it would’ve had fentanyl in it, that’s nothing compared to what we went through mentally. It also made me extremely thirsty i drank galling after gallon of water. Anyways thanks to anyone that can help me understand this.

Hypothetically if you developed a depot injection of Penfluridol you could have an antipsychotic that could last for seven months. As for a street drug I've never heard of it. Maby your just thinking about friends that developed psychosis.
 
No drug lasts that long.

There's only two explanations: 1) psychosis precipitated by drug use, or 2) consumption of a potent neurotoxin that cause some form of damage, the latter of which is unlikely because there would likely be other symptoms too (neurological, and others)

It was a liquid? What did it look/taste like?

it looked like little shards almost, or kind of like glitter… it didn’t really have much of a taste to it, but instantly after we drank it we stared like we was in a trance.

nah bro i still talk to my friends all the time😂, it literally messed all of us up.

It also made me extremely thirsty, i drank gallon after gallon of water.
 
Scopolamine/other deleriants can give you a powerful, lasting psychosis. Psychosis is a risk with essentially every psychoactive drug though.

Sounds a lot like anticholinergic toxicity. This class of drugs causes memory issues, delerium, psychosis, hallucinations, completely dehydrates you, oh, and it swells your brain into your skull. Not fun. Was it hard to piss?

how could it do that to 7 people though? seems unlikely to me that it was psychosis but, idk it’s definitely possible

yea kinda, it was crazy man i’m not lying when i say i had a gallon jug that i would constantly keep filling up with water. drank between 10-15 gallons of water… prob caused some type of brain damage.

Thats about how the brain swelling happens. You can't absorb water (or piss) and it goes straight to your head.

Well you said you and all your friends are feeling the same way you could all have the same psychosis from what ever drug you took. It's not anything new... just try getting back to normal. BTW.. I'm schizophrenic. I know about these things. That's why I'm saying I'm psychotic as well.
 
There are drugs that have a permanent effect (eg MPTP destroying dopamine cells in the substantia nigra), or ones having very long effects (eg botulinum toxin blocking neuromuscular junction), but I think they are better described under the heading of poisons.
Longest drugs I can think of are BZ (3-5 days) and desoxypipradrol (2-3 days)

I had some powder scored from a head shop called majick... The after glow lasted two weeks, some sort of crazy up gushing, like a weird arousal that lifted my depression. For me the only drug that had long term after effects in a bad way would be mdma.. but I got over it.

Would it not be relevant to say that maybe we don't always no that there are after effects going on, they just go on for days, months , years with no notice!
