Mental Health What does a case manager do?

Yeah. I have/had a case manager in the past, and I cut off contact with him because he does not do jack shit!! Every time, he would schedule an appointment to meet with me an hour talking about random stuff and the point is, absolutely nothing has been accomplished with him. I think he just needs to get class credit or something because he does absolutely nothing. Like when I needed housing, he would be like "oh, well that's hard because many people are homeless and it would be hard to get you in." Indeed it is hard when you drive off halfway through the application asking to meet up two weeks later. We meet every two weeks and he only has one hour, so what is the point of meeting with him in the first place? I don't want to be rude, but he is of no help.
