i used to think
that these deep vast black pupils meant i was happy
and,
that the enlargement of these entities somehow
symbolized a completed me
i would look into these masses and tell myself that this would be the last time i
would experience this
i would look into myself and truly believe these affirmations
but again when i was weak,
the masses would grow until i was happy
and,
as my pupils grew,
my morals diminished...
as my pupils grew,
the respect i had for myself was gone.
and as they grew,
so did i.
and as i grew,
i realized that sometimes bigger
isn't always better.

Nice piece. I understand where you are coming from, but don't let someone tell you that you are nothing because you do drugs. I don't even know if someone is, but you can be a good person *and* have the freedom to choose!
