What do you do when taking your opiates?

Simply as the title suggests, what do you do when taking opiates? What are the things you do during recreational usage so you receive the best experience while under the influence? What do you personally do to get the most bang for your buck?

Personally, I prefer laying in bed with headphones on and watching YouTube on my iPad. I’m an avid video gamer, so generally I will watch walkthroughs or “let’s plays” of some of my favorite video games. In the past I’ve done something similar, but the content would be music opposed to video games.

So to conclude my post, I reiterate my original post: what activities do you partake in while under the influence to achieve the most desirable euphoria and experience?

Watch movies or sleep/nod lol. Sometimes I take light doses before labor intensive engagements or as a social amplifier.

Usually watch TV/movies or read.

I like to watch "Intervention" when I'm using. A habit I picked up from when I was an alcoholic and used to watch the alcoholic episodes.
Also shows with an opioid-user protagonist like "Nurse Jackie".
Any opioid documentaries.

Well I'm clean now. Been off alcohol and opiates for 9 months now. Yea intervention is also good to watch. Gives me all the more strength to stay clean. Kinda like motivation I guess.

Good for you! Apart from a few slips (like drinking for a few hours one night, never proper relapses) I've been sober for just over 3 years. Alcohol is evil. WAY worse than any drug. Most of the terrible things that have happened to me were either directly or indirectly caused by alcohol.

^by "sober" I'm talking just alcohol. I'm not "clean", I still do a lot of drugs (just prescription stuff, nothing illicit anymore...not that that makes the drugs less addictive or anything).

Good for you also! Hey we all slip now and then. Keep fighting the good fight. I still take prescription meds. Remeron and Gabapentin.. Keeps me from craving and anxiety. I concur on alcohol. I went thru a 750ml bottle of vodka a day and each time I felt terrible. Almost to the point that I had problems with my balance and vision even sober. Finially I was told I had liver hepatitis and an inflamed pancreas by blood lab work. That scared me to the point of going to rehab for 97 days. Yes alcohol is evil and poison. Way worse than any opiate or benzos. Take care and be good to yourself!

Thanks :)
I used to drink 5 bottles of wine and a bottle of vodka every day. The withdrawal for the worst thing for me. I had to set an alarm clock for 4 hours later if I slept because if I slept for more than 4 hours I'd wake up drenched in sweat, shaking and vomiting. I used to have seizures in as little as 12 hours too. I'd actually shake constantly, even when I'd had plenty to drink. I've had 11 grand mal seizures, a heart attack and a series of mini-strokes from withdrawal, too.

I have a load of health problems, so on a lot of meds, too: Zoloft, Trazodone, Seroquel, Thorazine, Depakote, Dihydrocodeine...a lot more. I need others my doc wont prescribe too, like Xanax and Zimovane, so I buy them. Phenobarbital when I can (best anti-seizure med ever - plus amazing for anxiety - but I tried to overdose on it once so they took it off me).

Careful with the pancreas! I got Acute Pancreatitis and was in hospital for three months (caused by alcohol combined with bulimia as they both cause it). At one point I was given a 20% chance of surviving. I was so sick I barely remember any of it. It's what got me addicted to prescription drugs, too. They had me on IV morphine and IV Ativan every 4 hours for the entire 12 weeks. I was also on oral Librium, Haldol and sometimes IV diamorphine or Fentanyl, too.

Gotta be music if I am on an Oxy/Pheni combo, or music and training, especially cardio the endorphin level melts my brain into liquid dairy milk (Cadbury’s) oops no sources lol.

Off topic, @Bloodborne1 hope you don’t mind thought you may know. Can I download games to the Apple App Store by changing from the UK to the US? Trying to get Killer Instinct and Mortal Kombat?
