what can/cannot i shoot up?

hi there,

i am asking for a friend here if the following things can be injected intravenously:

-zopiclone
-lorazepam
-ritilan

these are a few pills my friend get and wants to know if she can shoot the. i personally don't think so.

tell me what you think.
 
I know you can't shoot benzos unless they are ampoules ready liquid IV . Ritalin you can shoot up just be careful I've done it once or twice its a Coke type rush
 
Even if you could it would be a waste of time you won't get a rush. I knew people that I'vd benzos and they wouldn't feel them as good as eaten and there is no euphoric rush!
 
You should not inject any of those as they are pills and are not meant to be used in such a manner. The only things suitable for injecting via household techniques are water soluble things. Having said that you probably could inject the Ritalin and you wouldnt be the first person to do so. So if I were in this situation i would not inject any of those as they are not worth losing limbs or dying. Tell her if she values her health she should not do this and that valuing your health will happen at some point and you may regret doing this. You have been warned....

Hey there,

I had asked a question last week for a friend asking if I could shoot certain pills.

This week my same friend came across, from what she told me via text, was powdered methadone. I guess the stuff before it is mixed in juice. She told me she has a friend at a pharmacy that was going to give her some. I told her what methadone was for and she asked me if she could shoot it. I told her no that from what I know you can't. She told me that she looked it up and that it was possible to shoot.

Could you shoot methadone if it was in powder form? It doesn't seem possible cause that would defeat the purpose of methadone.
 
it may be possible but i doubt it would be safe, if it was what turns into syrup or anything with flavour/colour i wouldnt even try. plus its dangerous imo to shoot methadone
 
As this is a harm reduction board I have a feeling the general consensus is going to be "do not shoot the methadone, do not shoot the pills and find more IV friendly and actually worth shooting drugs" Methadone does not have the same "pleasure profile" as other opiates it would be an unneeded risk to inject the methadone. If taken in appropriate doses orally methadone can keep you from getting sick and if you use it for that purpose it is an extremely valuable tool. It is extremely potent and kills users who are not doing anything like shooting it many people "fall asleep only to never wake up" from things they didnt even think were dangerous or they just go to a clinic and didnt think taking xanax and drinking would interact with their methadone.

Also provided its a salt and is water soluble you can inject it but there are some things that are "worth it" and some things that are not and methadone is one i would put into the not worth it side of things. I think you need to try to help your friend understand why she feels the need to inject potentially dangerous substances for little gratification. Its best to limit regrets as at some point you will regret some of the shit you did, losing an arm is something people regret more then not getting high that one day in the past.

I'm the same way. I've gone to the ER for bad anxiety and was given Ativan via IM shot. Did not work nearly as well as just ingesting two .5 tabs. Everyone is different but the shot had little to no effect. As far as the done, just eat it IMO.
 
Correct me if I'm wrong but you can't inject pills that aren't water soluble also if it says HCL its for your gut. Zopiclone HCL? As t in it needs hydrochloric acid in your stomach to break down?
