mine is based off of something i heard on a documentary, i think that our whole consciencness will be realigned, and the way we have based ourselves and living for the past 10000 years will be wiped clean and we will no longer feel the need to always be greedy, we will live peacefully. instead of judging others off of money we judge off of traits and characteristics, like compassion. for example, damn i wish i had good patience like him. instead of damn i wish i had that niggahs 9mm.
 
this year may distinguish itself in the runup, by a greater frequency of people claiming something out of the ordinary might happen.
 
I pretty much agree with everyone who has replied in this thread thus far.

2012 will merely be a continuation of the path humanity has paved for itself. Nothing more, nothing less.
 
I want something magical to happen.. because we need a miracle, we really do! The pile is just too deep now for us to get out of it ourselves without some major overhaul that just ain't ever gonna happen. My belief about 2012.. personally i'd like to see some sort of atmospheric plasma event or some tweaking of our brain wave states, forcing people to pay just a lil god damn bit of attention to the world around them instead of just their own bubble reality!
 
I think the myth has gathered enough momentum that the 2012 phenomenon has already gained a certain amount of 'reality' in the collective consciousness.
Something along the lines of what Carl Jung would say.

I'm sure our collective beliefs and expectations (or lack thereof) will have some impact on historical developments in the coming year. Self-fulfilling prophecies and whatnot.
Not sure if we'll veer towards enlightenment or teeter towards destruction, but that's a question humanity faces every day.

I expect a crazy cult or two to commit mass suicide, or gather in a desert somewhere waiting to be disappointed.

That being said; just another year. Nothing inherently special about it aside from an ok movie.

there will be numerous new planets, this has already started, astrology will be quiet different. these planets will make clear the ushering in thats begun already. the same thing happened to much lesser extents in the mid-late 1800's, along with the precursor of Neptune diving into Pisces, this also happened in 1984, it will again a few more times.


for the past few thousand years, we have been under the watch of the fixed star Regulus in the constellation of Leo, Regulus will be moving into Virgo...Death+Rebirth the Virgin...Trans-Pluto being in Virgo also, will add to this effect of new means of Healing and Medicine, Global and Social sustenance, Technology will take a bout face. all of these things = the romantic sounding thought of, Blue*Star-Medicine...the healing BlueLight and BlueWater...DNA Therapy

the Indigo-Child sensation, haha, is attributed in great part to one of these new 18 "planets" in our solar-system, Quaoar, who also made an appearance in the mid to late 1800's. people born during that circa, were born with Quaor in their Natal chart, as well as Neptune in a water sign usually pared with Uranus, these two monstrous planets are highly attributed with psychic activity, communication, deceit and deception, science, spirituality, metaphysics, dreams and the surreal, alcohol/opioids/dissociative drugs and situations/behaviors sub-conscience creation instigation. in 1984 this was at red-alert...from 1978-1988, after that some new more interesting things started happening.

along with these attributes in peoples natal-charts, there charts have a large clump of planets, from the late 70's this "bowl" or clump of planets was concentrated in the 1-5 houses, attempting to break on through to the opposing-side of the chart.. all of these planets are set up to be finalized in their course of action in a persons life-time, the Darhma and karma, the lessons to be learned in that persons life, all 9 Gates/Chakras will be tried to be opened. most people will shut off this "action" or go nuts trying to cope, some will attempt to harvest and kindle these urges, and the closer we get to 2012, the stronger the planetary aspects will become. until.... these people charts are activated.


the 4 Fixed Stars surrounding our universe, will be shifting for the first time as-well of course, and in doing so, will be each placed in an Element...this hasnt happened in 5,000 years. with each element occupied. a 5th element will be forced to come to light, and these people with the stars on their side, will be the ones at head of their community as far as age-brackets go, and so then by 2020, much good will of been set to spring.

I have experiences that show alignment with the date in some form or another... But I'm wondering if its just sort of the universes way of bookkeeping? There's much synchronicity in my life around the number 23... With it... And with 12/21/2012 with important"" people in my life... Resonances like mirror images of my birth and experiences with female loves"", and mother... Hard to explain. I either die on 21/21/2012, or I'm born again... Or its just another imaginary line (that still may serve a purpose).
 
Sign me up for mass consciousness ascension, although I'm completely impartial to that and will not expect anything, or be disappointed by anything.

That it is an arbitrary period in time, marked by the Earth's orbital period around the Sun, and given an ordinal number relative to how many orbits have been completed since something in a fictional story may have happened.

what i said sounds all sensational maybe, but it might not be so strange sounding to know that, this has all been happening already, so, that should tell who-ever quiet a bit...[insert] something along the lines of [monkeys and elephants will not be flying etc.]


the "cold-war" didnt take place in the north-pole either -
and most often winds-of-change arent tornado's or hurricanes.



a lot will happen, as it has been - the sensationalism comes from us people, hint*hint. also this is great advertising and promotion used at the right times for many reasons, in many contexts for all sorts of people.

lots of simple "why didnt we think of that before" type scenarios - how can i word it "we" will have a new or more, common sense, just more practical deeper thought, thinking more freely out-side the box, some extra much needed 'fore-sight'...but only on a larger public, social, international scale.
thinking about ones own reaction, as well as others involved... this includes our planet and unborn children and all that jazz.

if we were a paranoid and violent enough of a world, to of perceived "dooms-day" as the end of the world, it would of been our karma, to of gone ahead and done it to our selves anyway, or as a reaction to the thought of "dooms day". maybe even through the orders of several or one evil global leader, but, that isnt the case.
