In Drugstore cowboy (saw for the first time last night and instantly fell in love with it), what was bob refering to as blueys in the first raid ?

Haven't seen the movie yet (although I've been dying to)...yet, if I heard that on the street (and since they are dealing with pharmies) I would venture to guess they're talking about the 10mg adderall tabs. People in my area call them blueies a lot.
Semi-related piece of info : I sneezed blue tonight, it was fucking crazy.

I haven't seen the movie either since I don't own a TV and I talk on bluelight via a n1gger-rigged toaster, but around here I have heard some people call 10mg valium "blueys".

But if you were robbing a pharmacy, why the fuck would you steal 10mg adderall and not 30mg? also, 5mg adderall are also blue, so calling the 10mg blueys wouldn't make any sense. MANY people call 10mg valium blues, and I have heard people call them "blueys".

This presents an interesting question...
What color does a smurf turn if you choke it?

you silly junkies...
The movie was made in 1989 and adderall wasn't FDA approved until 1994. It was called Obetrol before than, after the really fucking fat bastards that took it.
Blueys are valium, I bet. I'm going to go watch the movie again and take a closer look.

I've always called 10mg valiums "blueys" just 'cause that's what they are( blue good pills).

"Blues" refer to 10mg Valium, it was a popular term back in the 1970's and even 1980's.. no one still calls them that but me and the small number of people I talk to, and people always give me weird looks anyway..

Where in the nursery rhyme does it say Humpty Dumpty was an egg?

I've seen hydromorphone in pink, yellow, and orange....but never blue. Possible, though, and it makes sense in the context of the movie.

dilaudid.
it was -i think? as for the inaccuracies of this... idunno... but i recall the main character's fascination with the substance, so it would only follow suit... adderall seems out of the question and valium... well appealing, isn't an opiate (which is what the main character was into)... that and also the blue pills i think this was a refrence to was some capsules that would have little blue spheres in them... and that ain't valium... -i think blueys were used for banging... i dunno... man i'm stoned... i'm getting hungery too...

Buey's or blueberries are valium.. period.
All the dilaudid talk had nothing to do about bluey's
