okay, let me give you the full story. i recently started experimenting with oxycodone. my first time doing it was december 30th and i took two 10/325 percocets and felt pretty good. the day after i took one 40 mg oxy and felt fucked up. when i was coming down i took two of the same percs and realized i wasnt really feeling it so i decided my tolerance already went up so i took another one.
on january 4th i took an oxy 40 and realized i wasnt feeling shit, so i took half of another one. my reasoning for this is because i was looking on here a couple days before this day and read about some kid that took a 40 and wanted to take another one but someone responded saying he would have died. so i only took half and i really don't know if i was feeling it. this is because as soon as i took the half, it was upsetting my stomach.
anyway, to the weird side effects. about an hour or so after taking the half i felt extremely tired and decided to go to bed. now, i thought i was so tired i would pass out as soon as i closed my eyes, but the opposite happened. i was able to close my eyes and keep them closed, but i couldnt fall asleep. it took me about an hour or two to get to bed but i'm pretty sure what was going on in my mind is what kept me up.
everytime i would close my eyes, i would get closed eye hallucinations or something. it was very, very odd. i would see random people's faces, people i've never even seen. i would see the most random shit, like a dog or a tree or something just totally random. i was actually quite amused by it but it was somewhat freaking me out. after a while of that, i actually started hearing noises in my head. and the best way to describe how these images came, it looked like they materialized right in front of me, would move a little like slide to the left, right, up, or down and than would slowly dissappear and than another random thing would show up.
the next day i got these weird feelings in my head/body, and they lasted throughout the whole day and part of the next day. the best way i can describe it is that it felt like my brain or something was draining down the back of my head. now, it literally didnt feel like that, but i got these intense rushes that felt it was depressing my brain. not depressing as in mood, but like making me feel extremely dumb. and whenever i got these feelings it felt somewhat that i was going to pass out. i would get these frequently during the day.
could somebody please explain this to me? has this happened to anybody else? is this a side effect from oxycontin?
