I UTFSEd and nothing came up so here goes.

Sometimes when I get TOO high objects in my peripheral vision will start blinking. That is, they repeatedly disappear and reappear, usually for as long as I keep looking at them in my periphery. Sometimes it's people or animals and sometimes it's inanimate objects. I cannot remember if this ever occurred before I started using psychedelics (haven't used any in about half a year now anyhow).

I've had a bunch of other "side effects" from smoking too much pot at once but this one is the worst, I can't explain it any better than I just have. Has this ever happened to anyone else? I wish I had an explanation for what is going on here.

Is it like a low blood pressure type thing in your vision? Sometimes after a bunch of pot minor blackouts (which sounds way more serious then it is) occur due to low blood pressure. That's all I've got that could potentially help explain it. How much did you use psychedelics when you used them? I strongly doubt that it's them causing it, but it's possible, I know from personal experience that pot makes both HPPD and dissassociative disorder more severe, especially in large quantities.

It could be low blood pressure. I do often have issues with my contacts when I get completely stoned. Is there a way to counteract the lowering of blood pressure in the eyes when blazing? I doubt it, and if there is it probably wouldn't be healthy. In regard to psychs, I have used all sorts of psychedelics, maybe 40 times if that. Mostly in 2008. I've had minor HPPD since 2008 too, if not earlier.

thanks for your response, pm.

After a quick search I found this- http://www.ehow.com/how_5137256_raise-blood-pressure-quickly.html

There's a lot of things that raise blood pressure, I'm not sure of any specifics though because I've never really had to raise mine, although there's been a few situations when I wanted to, but I was on opiates and didn't much want to move. Usually I find that sitting or lying down helps, but I've only ever had pot cause blackout type effects after that sudden movement, especially standing up quickly.

Caffeine also raises blood pressure, as do a variety of other drugs, many less benign then caffeine. I doubt that the HPPD is that cause since you said you haven't tripped in a while. Good luck with whatever the problem turns out to be.

Thank you for the additional research. I already eat too much salt, but I will try to keep caffeine in mind for the future.
