I read somewhere that cocaine/crack only makes you skinny because it suppresses your apatite. But i was curious as to weather or not since it makes your heart race, makes you sweat, could that be burning calories?

Also i read on a website which i cannot remember the link to, that cocaine/crack will increase testosterone in males. Is that a proven fact?

How can i safely incorporate excersize with my drug usage? Im sure it cant be safe to workout wile im high on crack, so when would be an ideal time to wait after iv done crack?

mods if this should be in healthy living or some other section plz transfer.
 
Poppa, it's really seeming like you're going out on a limb to justify your use by coming across like you want to stay healthy, but the cold hard truth is with a daily cocaine/crack habit, no amount of exercise and proper diet is going to help you out...

No. This is not healthy living material.

Cocaine is not a healthy drug, it will cause hypertension, immune system weakening, cardiac damage and kidney damage in a very short amount of time. By the time you lose weight on cocaine, you've lost so much more.

There are much healthier short-cuts to losing weight. Though, the best way is through drug-free diet and exercise.

If you care about your health and well-being in the next year, I would advise you to lay off cocaine.
 
apparently coca leaves, the raw plant cocaine comes from, actually contains some level of nutrition

100 grams of coca leaf supplies more than the US recommended daily intake of calcium, phosphorus, iron, and vitamins A, B2, and E

but i doubt most things bought at street quality, particularly like cocaine or crack, is likely to be 'friendly' to your body at all. maybe you could get away with pure quality cocaine if you lived in peru, but i think trying to stay healthy whilst continuing to smoke crack is like trying to run up a hill against an ridiculously powerful wind that's just going to push you back down
 
Poppa, as others have mentioned, cocaine (in crack and powder forms) is very dangerous for your body. Cocaine is indeed cardiotoxic.

I know cocaine is addictive. The dangerous thing is actually exercising while on cocaine. Stimulants increase your heart rate + exercising increases your heart rate. Using stimulants while exercising is dangerous, esp. with cocaine....because you're asking a lot of your heart at that point.

However, if you want to skip your usual dose of cocaine/crack and exercise instead, that's a different story. :)

the extra pressure on your heart could burn a few calories, but that extra stress is gonna increase your levels of a stress hormone called cortisol, and higher cortisol levels have been proven to cause weight gain, specifically around the midsection. and the sweat is pretty much just water, so your just losing water-weight.

i read on a website that MDMA puts holes in your brain and that if gay people get married the world will end.

the majority of things you read online arent always true, i really doubt that it increases testosterone levels. if anything i would think that it lowers it due to the stress put on your body.

just start with light exersize so you dont over-work your heart. and do your crack AFTER you've worked out and your blood pressure isnt high anymore (or as it was when you were working out)

if you wanna lose weight, stop doing crack and start eating healthier/exersize more.
and dude at least do us a favor and take some fish oil pills if your gonna continue using.
your body needs it :)
 
I'm gonna go ahead and close this as I'm also in agreement that it's not Healthy Living material, also I'm not really sure what other forum it belongs in. There's been lots of good advice thus far, I mean smoking crack is definitely not good for you whatsoever but yes you'll lose weight. If you're exercising for health reasons, then as others have said your first step is to quit smoking crack.

I will re-open this elsewhere if you find you need more advice OP.
 
You keep making thread after thread about cocaine/crack and the implicit health problems from your use. Nothing about IV Cocaine is "healthy" and whilst I understand you wish to reduce harm as much as possible with regards to continuing your usage, the best way for you to minimise harm would be to give up this addiction. Cocaine will place strain on the heart and CNS - you have already exhibited signs of cardiotoxicity and physical issues are already arising from your use (judging by your past threads).
Exercise also places stress on the heart and CNS.
My advice would be to make the decision between the two as frequently engaging in both is a recipe for disaster. I don't know the exact time of when you could take Cocaine pre/post workout as it's something that I've never come across anybody asking for obvious reasons - it's highly inadvisable.
Don't think of using Cocaine for "burning calories". Utilising appetite-suppressing stimulants for weight loss is an extremely ill-advised practice.

A study of rats given acute cocaine administration showed a noticeable decrease in testosterone after 4 weeks of regular administration. Cocaine use will alter the hormonal balance which can have untold effects on the body and mind.
A further study on rats administered injected Cocaine showed an increase in test levels immediately after use temporarily, a delay of any increase followed by a sudden and marked drop. It's not healthy to play around with the delicate balance of hormones.

There is no "healthy" answer to incorporating crack use into a workout regime. Stop using cocaine. You have already stated some noticeable cardiotoxic excitation in past threads and if you want to begin working out alongside your addiction then you are asking for problems.
