Heroin Weighing Out Dope

ok so i had never done dope but a friend said he could get it and he said he would sell me a "slice" for $100 which he said was a gram. But then he said a gram of heroin really weighs out to only .4 and that other dealers do this.

But a gram is a gram whether its heroin ,bud or coke tub, right?

If i buy a gram of heroin and throw it on the scale it should say 1.0 right?

Sounds like he is trying to rip you off or something. A gram is a gram, unless it's his stupidly confusing way of trying to say his dope is really good i.e. .4 of this is equal to a gram of the other stuff.

a gram of anything should weigh a gram. if it doesn't, than it's simply not a gram.

0.4g means someone decided to take 60% of your gram.

If you get 1g of heroin, it should weigh 1g on the scale.

Your friend was likely a junkie and is probably snorting/shooting/smoking the other 0.6g as we speak. No one else would say something so stupid as "0.4g equals 1g!".
