weed and hallucinations?

Do you experience hallucinations when smoking bud?

I got high the other day, and i notice the more i smoked the louder the sounds of thought are in my head. If i had a song stuck in my head it became louder and if im alone and start thinking something and realise its louder then my usual thought it repeats and loops and freaks me out till someone talks to me then i calm down.

Then i was watching this guy exhale a toke and i was just looking at him then looked away and an vivid mental imagine flashed up of the smoke he was exhaling coming out of his eyes and mouth at the same time. the picture appeared for a second and vanished. it was really trippy not unpleasant but im worried that i mite develop some sort of psychosis.

am I one of the 1% that goes crazy with bud? im just worried about my health and wonder if i should be worried. is that normal? :\
 
don't be worried man. Weed will distort your perception, sometimes smoke can look like different things or you can have bright flashes or you see patterns in things. Whenever I look at bitumen high it looks like it's moving. Don't worry about it, your just high.

Also there is nothing worse than smoking with somebody who keeps saying there hallucinating when you know it's bullshit. Keep that in mind
 
cool haha, yeah if i freak out of anything strange happens i keep it to myself and dont worry about it because im not a little bitch. i hate the people who do bitch about their high, its a real buzz kill haha.

Ive tried mushrooms once but i got no visuals i was aware of but apparently one of the people i remember being there and talking to was never there!!?

But thanks, that puts me at ease haha =D
 
Although bud can trigger a flashback for me, I know that it doesn't have anything to do with use of psychedelics. I know several people who have told me that they experienced acid-like visuals without ever having used acid.
 
i will add one thing - in the process of smoking sometimes you get 'headrushes' where the blood flow changes in your brain - maybe you know this already - but, when that happens it is a very strong little trip.. stronger than LSD - more like 5meoDMT in my opinion.. it can happen from standing up from the ground - holding in a hit - lots of random reasons..

i used to get headrushes with my friends on purpose.. lol.. sometimes i would fall flat on the ground.. luckily i got used to it enough to fall on something soft.. you definitely hallucinate at that point.. strange almost indescribable visuals..

then the sounds in your head i see as normal stoned feelings.. no need to be worried at this point.. if you were one of those 1% you would have had a really bad time on shrooms - like, acting very irrational and extremely uncool during the trip.. i had a friend like that - he took the same dose of acid as me, but he ended up under my bed thrashing around with a flashlight and a huge knife.. i had to talk him down..
 
It does for a few people. I know one guy who ate two brownies and got acid-like CEVs, and another who was high and drunk and described for me the exact criteria of an acid trip (breathing walls, CEVs, halos around lights.) without ever having taken acid or any other psychedelic.

The brownies guy did have shrooms at least once before though.

Well, that's unfortunate that you haven't experienced the psychedelic character of cannabis, but it's there. On my last few cannabis-only trips I've had breathing walls, 'sparkling', a color shift where everything appears more pink/purple, halos, 2D images 'moving', and intense CEVs. My CEVs take on a rainbow motif, but I've seen images not unlike a Tool album cover.

Also, since taking serotonergic psychs, my weed trips have also incorporated the characteristic mind-expansion effect that we all know and love. But to be clear, weed was psychedelic even before trying classical psychs. But the psychs have made it even more obviously psychedelic, especially the cognitive aspects.

Note that I usually smoke alone and in the dark, with only high THC weed, and I smoke at least several days apart so I never build a tolerance.

Now that I think about it, another thing that might have made me more susceptible to the psychedelic effect is that I'm a practicing lucid dreamer. Any lucid dreamer will tell you that one must spend a lot of time in the hypnagogic realm, which is like a sober brain's way of tripping. Perhaps being so exposed to such a state makes me more sensitive to drugs that induce similar states.
 
Once, I had a lot of honey oil and had just taken a long (job + tolerance) break. My friend brought some honey oil, some of the most beautiful I've ever seen. After two or three hours, I began to see squiggles coming out of his guitars. I laughed and laughed... "I AM HALLUCINATING ON WEED THIS IS SO EMBARRASSING" etc.

I wish I could still get high like that.
 
Weeds high interests me greatly
Some people completely agaisnt it, others say they have hands on experienced the hallucinations
IMO, its brought on by some sort of placebo and certain people can get "into" the high better, and if you smoke enough can get to the point of hallucinations
i think hallucinating is a much different word than tripping and people use it improperly, but i still think its possible to trip on weed :)
 
i have decent experience with lsd and shrooms and i can attest to the fact that i HAVE gotten psychedelic effects such as visuals from only cannabis, and they existed even before I tried the traditional psychs.
 
Weed doesn't make me hallucinate, however after a tripping sesh on lucy or shrooms, weed can do some trippy shit... not anywhere near the spectrum of acid, of course.

I dont know how anyone could compare even the best bud to decent lsd, shrooms, salvia... Really, mj is one weak psychedelic. As for seeing halos, walls breathing etc on *just* weed prior to any other psychedelic drug use (other than weed)... Well, I just don't believe you, sorry! :)

I don't understand...So you think we're just lying? Why would we lie? Besides, the whole bloody psychedelic experience is always subjective. How could you possibility tell someone what they do and don't experience?
