I am currently weaning off of poppy pods. I am taking about 1/15th of what I used to take but the withdrawals do not seem to have decreased over time. By the time I need my next dose I feel unwell. I am currently taking around 3 level tablespoons of powder, twice a day. I used to ingest pints of powder at a time just to feel normal. I have come a very long way thankfully.
My question is, will WD decrease the less I take? because currently the WD feels similar if not the same as when I ingested pints of the powder and I needed my next dose.
At the moment I cannot handle going t total because of the WD. As I decrease it to say a quarter of a teaspoon a day, will the WD symptoms decrease to such an extent, I can then go t total without being really really unwell & will the symptoms become bearable?
