Stimulants Water Burner Pipe With Flavors

Have you ever tried this with soda/juice/etc? I just wanted to see what people use to add some flavor to their smoke.
I've heard of using liquor + juice but I don't know if it adds flavor or not. I've used a lot of chopped ice and it worked great with water.

What was your favorite substitute beside water?
