Was held up at gunpoint last night, and my mess were stolen from me. Help

so last night I was walking around with a friend, just having a good walk, we're not trouble makers so we didn't think anything would happens. It didn't even occur to me that I would get stopped like that but I did. They made us both empty out our pockets and my prescription I just received two days prior was in it. And it was finally a med that worked for me. It is a narcotic so that's one issue about getting early refills, and my doctors rule is no early refills. I'm stressing out because, while I'm not in withdrawal or anything, this medication really helps after months of trying to find something to help me with my problems is. I know I'm not supposed to ask how to get pills, but I'm wondering if anyone has been through a similar situation and had it resolved because after that trauma, the anxiety I had before getting the medication is 10 times worse. Any help and suggestions are GREATLY appreciated
 
Generally if you file a police report, you can get a refill. Ask your doctor's office about their policy on this and you may want to file a police report anyway.
 
a police report should be enough for a doc to help you out as certain medication now a days is like gold
but be aware if you get caught in a scam ........
although i stick to what i said about medication being like gold
wonder why a random robber would take a random pill bottle what if it was medication for like diabetes or something
 
currently i have been months without paxil so i know the feeling. unfortunately meds are prescribed but not guaranteed to be received. i attend the phoenix behaviorial center in warner robins ga. i have to be careful. so you were questioned by police. and had stuff taken. thats awful. just find out when it can be refilled. and check whatelse can be taken. i have checked the withdrawal effects for paxil. it's been awful. i just tell myself when my next doctor's visit will be. and will be resolved. good luck
 
I would file a police report. It I would be hesitant to ask for a replacement script as that is the number 1 red flag for drug seeking.
 
Yea, if you were robbed you definitely should file a police report (probably no matter what, unless you were doing something illegal as well). That is the only way I see a Dr. believing your narcotic script was robbed and not sold or abused..

How do you know the person you were with didnt set you up? God I've been there. Getting robbed is very shitty feeling. lucky for me i called up my boys and the dude got his ass tazed 10 min after robbin me lol. But anyways doc says youre supposed to call the authorities and report it and then tell your doctor that you did that and he/she should give you a new script . I've spoken to a doctor about this before and that's the only way you can Get anything new
