Based on my experience, 60mg of dextroamphetamine sulfate IR div. 20mg TID is more or less the same 'feeling' as I have from Dexedrine SR spansule, 15mg QID or 2 caps qAM and 2 caps four hours later....The feeling is more 'stable' with Dexedrine SR as one dose qAM, two doses, or one dose q4-6h...compared to IR formulations that amount to the same 60mg QD.
To my amazement, I felt no difference when I took Vyvanse 90mg as one dose qAM, and likewise, no difference from DextroStat dosing, Dexedrine SR, when I augmented Vyvanse caps aa 70mg, with 20mg of Dexedrine SR...AND, when I asked a buddy to assist me in encapsulating the contents of 70mg Vyvanse with more Vyvanse, more Dexedrine SR, and placebo [nothing added], I could not tell the difference during the entire two week period, save for a capsule containing a Vyvanse dose above 110 which I found overwhelming.
Odd but true. Hasn't anyone ever felt that 70mg give or take is usually enough for the dextroamphetamine user who has experience with 60mg QD? Although 70mg Vyvanse 'translates' into a dose significantly below 60mg in the end, there is no feeling of any massive dose reduction when switching, at least that has been my experience.
Which is why I think Vyvanse is so marvelous.
As for Adderall, only 1/4th of that is dextroamphetamine sulfate, so if you're going for the equivalent of DASO4, which is the result of Vyvanse after it breaks down, then 70mg of Adderall would be equal to 17.5mg of DASO4, which, if going by total dextroamphetamine sulfate released during breakdown of Vyvanse formulation, would be around the 70-80 mark,I do not remember the official rate but if going by DASO4 alone, 70mg Adderall has only 17.5mg of it to begin and end with.
