Stimulants Vyvanse just started

Apologies if this is against the rules, I was just prescribed a dose of 20 mg a day of Vyvanse and am only going to have one 20 mg capsule by the 9th and it is supposed to last until the 20th of dec, am I screwed or can I just open it and take half so I test positive both times. Their is going to be a period of about two weeks between the tests.

vyvanse is a slow acting prodrug. half a dose should be fine for a test. you just want it in your system the morning of. idk your specific situation or which form of testing will be used here but if its just a urine test then personally, i wouldn't stress too much about it. from what ive read, urine testing is not very reliable for measuring medication levels and more used to look for illegal drugs that shouldn't be there. save half if you want to be safe. if its a blood test then i would definitely want to save at least half a dose for it. though im no expert. hope this helps!
