I have a friend that i used to work with, and for our own (and each other's amusement) we would send each other crass, pointless, profanity-laden insults via the University email system all day.
I don't work there any more, but he does. This morning i decided to send him a nonsensical swear word to get his day off to a good start, and hooefully at least give the poor bastard a giggle. Management sucks. The Institution sucks (in my experience)...and there are a...what's the collective noun for a bunch of hens?
Can't think of it, so let's substitute "geese" for "chickens/hens"; there is a gaggle of jaded women there who have worked there too long, and make the place unbearable.

But gradually my cynicism of the corporatisation of australia's universities becomes apparent.
