Naw. In and out gets most of it, with the least tar. Done the hold it till its ghosted, and everything inbetween, and there is no real difference, except for the amount of shit you cough up.

As soon as you inhale .25g of smoke you feel the resin start to settle in and set up shop. Blow it out then cought it up, and dont have it sit inside of you, and you still get mad baked.
 
I've inhaled in and out and noticed that I wasn't getting that high, then when I held for 3 seconds (breathing in after inhaling a second time) I noticed I would feel effects almost immediately. I think it only takes about 3 seconds for all thc to absorbed, holding it any longer doesn't help. I also think moving the smoke around in your lungs by breathing a second time helps too by moving it around being absorbed faster.
 
I read somewhere that like 90-95% of THC is absorbed within 1 second, with diminishing returns by holding it, and the negative tar effects intensify with time.

Well I guess if its really potent shit it won't matter how long you hold it, but does that lighter your using work good for weed? Seems like you torched it in the video, all you gotta do with that lighter is hold it for a second and inhale and it should all cherry to the end of the bowl.

I'm really baked. And sloppy. I just need to quickly hit the bong and torch the whole bowl then it all burns. Works GREAT.
 
Yeah but I hate it when people are smoking some of your weed with you in a pipe and they torch the damn bowl on their hit instead of holding it for a sec or two and sucking in. (this wastes like 2 hits and they only get like one good one instead of two) If its a bong though, it shouldn't matter most of that shit goes straight through water. Another reason I only hold the lighter for a second is because the hit will be very harsh if its not a bong.
 
dang.. i can see you're a very serious potsmoker to be using a torch lighter :) (for the n00bs: you can light the herb at a distance with those and expose the weed to less heat than traditional lighters. less heat = more high)
 
i like torch lighters because they burn clean (for instance you would not use cigarette lighter for creme brulee)

the trouble is that they get extremely hot, and it's easy to ignite your entire bowl which can be EXTREMELY HARSH, due to the density of the smoke

still, it's fun to have that much power at your fingertips.

for wet product, i'm sure a higher temperature is perfect!
 
they're also good for getting blunts light in wind, snow and even drizzle (piezo ignitor ftmfw!)
 
The flame from the torch on the low settings is very small, but very hot. This makes lighting blunts or fat joints a breeze. It also makes fixing the canoe on a blunt a simple task with laser precision heat.

With skill and a steady hand you can easily corner a bowl and take a nice toke, but its much more fun to give it a twirl, cherry the whole bowl and smoke a fat toke. With the bong, I can pack about a .25g 50% hash / 50% weed (base layer ontop of screen) for a single snapper (well you can snap it but its the entire chamber filled with a nice white smoke).

With the torch you can burn bigger bowls faster, so the smoke stays nice and smooth, and doesn't get dirty and stale by the time you have brewed your toke with matches or a regular bic.
 
skunk is rather commercially isnt it? Even really crystalline Skunk #1 after a few minutes gets kinda meh imo.

& chora i hope you showered after cause thatd be kinda skank cause THC & res will stay on your skin if you dont use something besides water to remove it.

I dunno if its normally commercial or not, this is the first time I've seen it around. I do know that this is not commercially grown. Its grown in small quantities for quality not quantity. I really wish I had my camera around still, because this shit needs photos. The inside of these buds have so much crystal its insane. This is shit that makes oldschoolers sit down for hours, its a long lasting wheelchair weed, with a potent aroma.

I just got some white rhino, mixed it with skunk and juicyfruit. its sick.

The video is so long because I toke the toke, and went and coughed/puked some nasty fucking black shit up. I vomited bile for about 4 minutes while I began sweating profusely. This place is really cold, I wear a tshirt, longsleve t, and a hoody, and I had sweat pouring down my face staining my glasses, my pants dont have a belt, and I am fumbling around stoned and blind, looking for anything to drink that doesn't have butts in it. I found some gingerale washed the taste of stale chips and acid out of my mouth, now Im chillin with Prodigy cranked, STONED as FUCK (first toke of the day, lol) and feelin great, now that my lungs are cleaned out. Time to roll a joint !!!!
