video game: Unreal 3 (PC/PS3/Xbox 360)

So i got the Demo and just let me say... WOW... the graphics are awsome. i thougtt my pc wouldnt run it and it runs great. also for anyone that has played the previous unreal games theres some new stuff for you. like if you hit the F button your bot falls down and plays dead. if you hit the Q button your bot get on a flying skate board makin it real easy to move on capture the flag.


ps. you need a good pc to run things smooth although unreal is very forgivin and even with a low end pc you can still run the game.

my pc is a 4500 dual core AMD Athlon overcloked to 58000, 512MB Ati Radeon 1950 pro, 2GB 800mhz dualchannel ram overclockd to 900mhz. the game runs great at my maximum resolutions at a 1680 by 1050, the does look alot like gears of war but with the unreal feel to it. VERy GOOD game i suggest you play it if you havent.

although fps are meant to play on mouse and keyboards? OMG dude i fps are meant to be played on pc. its takes quite getting used to but the accuracy of your mouse and all the keys you can use on a keyboard are far more superior then any controller can give you.

That is the strangest thing I've ever heard lol

I'm considering getting one of those adapters that lets you run a mouse and keyboard as a controller on the xbox 360 for fps's.

Nothing beats the control of key+mouse combo you just can't come anywhere near as close to the precision with a controller.

im not worried about precision as much as i am worried about having fun. i understand that its more accurate with a mouse and keyboard, i just like controllers.

i have it all hooked up to my laptop and with my wireless mouse/keyboard i can slouch on the couch no problem while playing my fps's

its great
although they could have improved the lobby system for online multiplayer.
other than that its tons of fun.

I got it for PS3 when it first came out and it's fucking great. The user-created mods can make things really fun and constantly changing (here's to the guys remaking Quake 3 maps %) ). I don't play it that much anymore (not enough time), but it's definitely one of the better FPS games to come out in the last few years in my opinion. I'll take UT3 over Call of Duty any day

I am a huge unreal fan huge but this was the biggest let down ever I thought this was gonna kill ut2k4 but I have to say Unreal Tournament 2004 is better I really hope they patch it and bring back invasion, onslaught, and assault cause those are much needed modes...
