Videogames PS2 - Hitman: Blood Money

I think this game is pretty mutha fuckin sick. How do yall like it?

Yea, I aint familiar w/the other ones but lately everyday when i chill out w/my man we play it and i think its pretty ill, i like how they create the environments and the atmosphere of each spot that u got a objective at. I also like the themes in the game of most of the ppl that u got contracts on, bein cuz of fucked up shit they did. for example the first mission the father of the kid who died on the ferris wheel puttin the hit on the guy who owned the park where the accident happened at.

I aint really that great at the shit but the game is interesting enough that i dont mind watchin it. I jus thought it was kinda cool and was wonderin what everyone else thougth.

This is the first in the series where they put a decent plot in it. I enjoyed it. I love the way there's tons of ways to kill your target in each level.

I know I'm a bit late, but I just got this yesterday. Prior to this one, there's only been one good Hitman: Hitman 2. I played the shit out of that game.

Blood Money is turning out to be the best one yet, I can't seem to stop playing and I've been playing for like 12 hours.

Blood Money's a wicked game.

As with all the Hitman's the missions can be a little strobe-like in terms of quality, but when it's good it's absolutely fucking awesome. Atmosphere & tension to die for (quite literally) due in part to the fantastic music.

There are few things more satisfying in videogames than calmly strolling past an army's-worth of VIP bodyguards wearing a Santa Claus costume & then silently garrotting your target. :D

Ahhh a reply. Finally. My favorite part of that mission is blowing the glass bottom out of the hot tub and watching everyone fall off the side of the mountain.

^ Hehe!

That's what I'm talkin' about! No other game enables you do shit like that. Twisted sick puppies the developers be.

How far have you got by the way? Some of the later levels are amazing. I haven't completed it yet though, so don't spoil the ending of you have kthxbye.

I beat it in one very long 15 hour playing session, the same day I started this thread. It was ridiculous.

The first level I replayed was the Wedding. Something about Agent 47 running around in suspenders against a backdrop of banjo music. That and the fact that, if you have 2 mines, you plant both where the husband walks past the two guards, detonate the first one to kill hubby and the guards, then use the other one to slaughter the crowd that gathers %).

Another favorite is the Mardi Gras level because it can be perfected, and it feels like I've really accomplished something.

The only problem I have with Hitman: Blood Money is that it takes up almost an entire memory card. I don't know wtf is up with that.

15 hours in one sitting?! Jesus mate, that's dedication to the cause! :D

I'm up to the first Vegas level which is huge, so I need to set aside a few hours to tackle it properly, although my little brother claims that he did it in a matter of minutes which I find hard to believe.

I thought that the Mardi Gras level was one of the weaker ones to be honest, but it was certainly impressive to have that many characters on screen at once, even if they're only dressed in about 5 different outfits. The rehab clinic I enjoyed immensely though for some reason, probably because I did it perfectly the first time.

Can't wait to see where they take the series next though - a fleshing out of the upgrade system, non-linear mission choice & more opportunities to blend into your environment (leading against the wall pretending to use your phone or tying your shoelaces for example) would be good. Maybe expand the missions out so that they take place over the entire expanse of a town, with a full day & night cycle, rather than the fairly short loops of behaviour that they follow in the present games.

But yeah whatever, Hitman rocks.

I am totally killing this game right now on professional. no saves, increased AI, high pressure. It's no coincidence that my post count is now 4700, since I am turning into the supreme Agent 47 %)

Hey guys, I thought I'd bump this thread because I've just gotten to the last level on professional difficulty. It took me about a week and a half to get here. Without radar on non-target characters and with crazy AI the game is totally different. I'm trying to beat requiem right now, and until this point I have not looked at any youtube videos for help.
