Only played it briefly, definitely a big improvement on the last one.
Will have to buy it when I find time.
 
i played the demo. the only improvement that i can see is the response time is quicker, but i thought that this may simply be due to being a light version or running from the HD.

what improvements do you note?

i love fifa 09 and it is my current number one option on the machines. i've played through career mode once and am mostly through my second run. such a brilliant soccer game, i can't explain. very frustrating at first but the be-a-pro mode is the best thing ever once you get used to it.
 
im picking this up on the weekend...

i have been playing the demo, and its been awesome!!!

the last fifa i played was 08... and the improvement is amazing... the AI of the players is awesome, they make smarter runs... i can see many hours being played!!!
 
i can't stop playing 09. "be a pro season mode" is by far the most fun i've ever had playing a sports title. i saw a review of 10 on goodgame and it does look significantly better. will probably get a cheap copy of 10 from ebay.
 
Steep learning curve.
Once you know how to use the arsenal of techniques available to you you'll be unstoppable.
 
i'm a king at be a pro fifa 09, so i look forward to bringing that forward.
 
Fifa 10 is just awesome, much better than Fifa 09 which I also liked a lot. Playing it on the PS3, and I love what they've done with the 360 degree movement, and all the new ways of shooting etc.
 
not as easy as 09 to score in. played one game so far and have some getting used to.

generating my game face on the website now. the software is taking ages :X
 
the face thing doesn't work
the game play i'm either not familiar with or is shit.
at the moment i wish i had kept 09
 
tried and spoke too drunk and soon
the face thing now works. had to use the wife's laptop since it's not mac compatible. getting used to the game too.

Does anyone else find the refs call you for shit that blatantly isn't a foul?

I'm finding this very annoying about this game! Still love it though.

A good tip for manager mode; get your scout right up, and scout for players, you can sign them outside the transfer window and some of them go amaaaaazing ;)
 
how does manager mode work? i'm only playing "be a pro".

yeah, some calls can be perplexing. most of them are mis-timed standing tackles. it's like tripping or ankle tapping the attacker.
 
i played the latest pro evo demo and it feels horribly stiff in comparison to fifa08, 09 and 10.

i didnt like evo at all...

im trying to do be a pro at the moment, and i suck majorly at it... but its still fun to do...

i just dont like the camera angle... its just to hard to use... What do you use IP?
 
i've gotten accustomed to the default cam on be a pro. that mode shit me to tears for quite a while, but then once it clicked in my head, i fucking love it hard. you really need to just play your position. don't be running all over the field. yeah, the players fuck up, but they're actually quite good most of the time.

i think thats the issue, im usually on the wings somewhere, so it makes the camera even worse... the one time the coach put me in the middle of the park, it wasnt so bad...

i just became the reserve captain... im playing for liverpool, that might be making it a bit harder as well.
 
so i just made my first team debut... and won the game with the 1 goal i scored...

and then i made the Australian reserve team... and also won the game with the 1 goal i scored.

im starting to enjoy this now.
