How long does it take to get physically addicted to Vicodin HP (10 mg of hydrocodone) ? I have been taken these tablets once or twice a days for past two and a half weeks. I didn't yesterday because I knew I was going to drink for the evening. Anyway, I woke up with a massive headache this morning, but then I realized that was probably due to all the alcohol I consumed the night before. I know taking one or two a day for such a short period of time could not possibly lead to withdrawals so quickly or can it. Could you please let me know.

you're not addicted, but they are great for getting rid of a headache/hangover.
right now though, you're not taking enough, for a long enough time, to get addicted. if you've never taken a pain med like vicodin before, vicodin itself can sometimes make you feel sick (nausous)(spl????). but once you start to like how they make you feel and start thinking all the time about how much better you'd be feeling right now if you just popped a vicodin, or 2, or 3, that's when you have to decide whether to stop doing it right away, or yes, be physically addicted.

all of you who are: blazin, smokin, tokin, rollin, snortin, raillin, bumpin, poundin, popping, droppin, bangin, pluggin, rippin, wippin... need to stop trippin! i'm ONLY "FUCKIN" around.

At most, taking a few Vicodins a day for a few weeks, will cause nothing more than maybe a bad mood or possibly a tension head ache.
Apparantly Matthew Perry from the show Friends went to rehab over Vicodin though. I'm hoping there is more to the story, because if not, he's a total dork.
