Very weird experience..... Adderall and suboxone

I am on 2mg suboxone a day.

Was recently prescribed Adderall.

I have taken it before in the past- therapeutically.

Anyways, I take my 20mg xr dose at 9am, and notice absolutely no euphoria all day. No big deal, it did what it was prescribed to do.

Then at night, 6pm, I take my suboxone, and BAM, I feel a huge rush and I start feeling very high from amphetamines.


Why did it take the subs to make me feel euphoria from amphetamines? Is it because my neurochemistry is all whacked out from being dependent on suboxone, and needed the suboxone in my system to bring my brain back to homeostasis before feeling euphoric effects from amphetamines?

I just don't get it. I have no tolerance and that exact dose would have had me geeked in the past.

Same thing just happened right now. I am trying to be as sober and straight as I can these days, and I have to say that the Adderall and treatment of my ADD is going to have to wait until I am fully tapered off of subutex it seems. I'm speeding again right now after dosing my subutex. I just don't understand why the Adderall is giving me this enormous euphoria ONLY after the introduction of my nightly subutex dose (that's my one daily dose).


Is my dopamine depleted from the subutex?
