My college financial aid department is horrible. They basically lost all of my files that I turned in. I begin the files in july, and I went to their office last week and they had no information and no answers so they transfered my account to a counsler after I redid the applications.
The counselor called me later and said that I will have to file an appeal because in 2007 I withdrew completely. Also, my GPA is under 2.0.
Will the appeal just be a waist of time? IF not, what is the best thing I could possibly put there? I do not qualify for a grant because im only taking 6 hours and my parents make too much (but dont help me with shit) and im under 25 so I'm forced to put down my parents income.
Is there a way to get a student loan without going thru my dipshit college? Can't I just get a student loan from someone without them knowing my gpa and all the gory details?? I just need a loan dangit!! Thanks.
