When injecting heroin, is it normal for there to be a burning sensation?

I cook the heroin (not all of it dissolves otherwise), and I guess the solution might be kind of hot?

Cuz when I injected into a vein at the side of my wrist, I felt the burning sensation going up into my arm where the vein ran and it went away after a whilst.

Also here we usually cook the H with LIMONTUS, I dunno the English word for it. It's a lemon extract, tiny clear crystals or small yellow balls. Is this safer than using lemon juice?

THANKS!

Can't help with whether the Lemontus is any good/bad for you, never heard of it - is it just vitamin C powder? The best thing to use is citric acid BP from the chemist. If it says BP after the name then it's food gradel correct me if wrong.

You do sometimes get a burning sensation yeah, but usually when you've added too much acid - you really don't need a lot, check this vid out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IA6M8u0P-U0

It sounds like you are hitting the vein due to the movement of the sensation along it so yeah, just try adding less acid and getting the pure citric powder.

Too much acid is likely the major reason for the burning. Use less.

Also let the heated dope sit for awhile to cool after cooking!

Sounds like you're using too much acid.

Also, make sure you're not partially missing, which can also cause a burning sensation, and don't shoot while it's still hot.
