Today I received my Da Buddha and it doesn't have the digital display to set the temperature for the heating element, its a dial style.. but I have an IR Temperature Gun that I point-and-shoot to measure the temperature..

anyway whats the ideal temperature for THC vapor?
any Da Buddha users? where do you set your dial for ideal hits.

So far, I love this thing, definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone.

as far as the wip man, just wait tell youv used ur screen a few times, then pull ur screen out and celean the glass part of the wip with a straw or a cuetip ,then get all the unnessasary goodies off ur screen, and it should still be sticky as fuck,so just position back in the whip and ur problem should be pretty much solved

i use my box vape at 179 with most bud,but if its 'dank' id prob say 190 at most but only for the first few hoots it will dry out,so turn it down so u dont smoke ur weed (if ur a vapournazzi like me hah),if you vape crystal make shure u put some form of plant matter down,i dont even use fresh bud,il just use strait vaped shit so i can taste the crystal and whatnot,if your the type of dude to go broke once in awhile,ul really wanna keep the resin in the whip clean, you wont be sorry when that time comes ,and if you have the ability to save and scavenge, the type to save stems for a greater good, then save ur vaped weed in a container,it makes fairly decent oil and ud be suprised at how much you can yeild out of somthing ud normally put in ur ash tray :)

Help Me Boost a Crappy Vaporizer's High Temp

Hi.

So my sister went online and ordered a really crappy conduction vaporizer so my father, who has lung cancer, can use his (legal) medicinal marijuana without taxing his damaged lungs.

Unfortunately, the thing doesn't get nearly hot enough to vaporize. It's possible that it's not getting enough juice through the adapter from it's native European power plug to our American ones.

We're going to replace it, but in the mean time, I was wondering if there's a safe way for me to open up the case and fiddle with the modified-soldering-iron heating element to increase it's top temperature.

Any ideas?

I recently did major surgery on my Vapolution vaporizer which involved replacing the burnt-out temperature control with a simple two-temparature switch (normal and boost)).

However, if you've got what I suspect is merely an upturned soldering iron with a copper bowl and glass jar cover like my first vaporizer I doubt you will be able to adjust the temperature which is usually preset on soldering irons (generally to hotter than what is needed for pot). If its designed for Europe, then it's likely its expecting 220V voltage and not 110V in the US so your out of luck. In short, its trash unless you get a voltage converter.

Do a search in this forum for several reviews of vaporizers before you buy a new one.

Also, sorry to hear of your fathers lung cancer. Was he also a cigarette smoker by any chance?

I did some testing with the temps and found at around 11 it perfect. As far as the pulling of matter, I had the matter on the wrong side of the glass
