This is an argument I am having with a friend. He believes that valium is just a muscle relaxor and not for anxiety. I feel that it can relax the muscles , but is primarily for anxiety relief.
Anyone agree / disagree?

its a benzo, ask your friend to look up what benzos are for.
you friend is right that it does relax muscles and is used in some tests to both sedate and relax but so is morphine, and no one would say morphine is only a muscle relaxer.

heh.. but anyone would say Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine) is just a muscle relaxant, when it's really a tricyclic antidepressant.
with no recreational value whatsoever
except that it makes you tired.
very, very tired.

Er.. Ahem. ANYWAY. He is correct. Cyclobenzaprine technically *is* a Tricyclic...which we all HATE!
