Any Benzo users/abuser prefer valium and how much do u dose in a day? Also how much at once?

I have gp prescribed valium and I take it as and when I please. I use it mainly for come-downs and insomnia...sometimes for recreational on an evening when I wanna chill. I take my packs back to my docs for review and to prove that I'm being responsible and I get more to take home :D

valium isn't bad, probably the most recreational of the top 4 benzos prescribed. However it doesn't hold a candle to phenazepam or etizolam. I could take 120mg of valium and it still won't feel like enough, it never does. Maybe my tolerance is severely high from my benzo addictions a year and 2 years ago. Still though etizolam hits the spot and i've always loved phenazepam, tho it is by far the worst benzo for memory loss.

valium is a good muscle relaxer at least and very sedating, it can put me out even at 5mg.

valium is my true love. <3
my dose depends..and is never the same.
and lately it's been nothing..:(

i just wanted to get that out..before this thread is closed or moved.
this is more like drug culture stuff i think.
but whaddoiknow.

Token is right I don't know how long this thread will remain open but I did want to comment.

I prefer Valium over the other benzos I've tried, this is mainly because the other two benzos I have a lot of experience with (Xanax/Ativan) kick in so fast/hard. I compare them to crack: fast acting but they wear off quickly and I find myself taking more and more of them until I eventually find myself in a stupefied state where I think I'm maintaining and find out the next day that I was shit faced and made a fool of myself. Note that I didn't say I black out, I remember most everything, I just couldn't tell I was _that_ messed up at the time (or rather, thought I was hiding it well). This is a bad thing when you do something like...oh wander over to your parents/grandparents place for a visit. ;)

I do not have these problems with Valium, I am more responsible with it. Also because it is longer acting when I do take a benzo for sleep I actually get 6-9 hours instead of the 3-4 I would have gotten by taking a shorter acting benzo. I should also note that I do not take benzos these days unless absolutely needed or the odd night when I have a few just because.

I had a stint with xanax for awhile and I know from experience that benzos are best kept as a last line resort for anxiety/sleep/other issues they're prescribed for. They are great tools that stop working as intended if you abuse them, and the withdrawals are hell (far worse than opiates, in fact, you could end up dead). Maybe I'm just getting older...but these days I try to be more responsible with my intake of the benzo class of drugs. For me using Valium as opposed to xanax/ativan lets me take a benzo as needed without the strong urge to re-dose. That may not hold true for everyone, but it is what works for me.

There really is no HR value in this thread.

You can easily research Valium online and find the answers to your questions.
