valium - ambien cross tolerance.

From what ive red ambien is not a benzodiazepine, but its effects are very similar to those of benzos. If anybody knows, how would the cross tolerance be between these 2 drugs (ambien and valium) is there even one?.

there is cross tolerance, and potentiation. both working on GABA-A with slightly different mechanisms

i don't know if the cross tolerance is quantified

I've been on Valium for a decade and i can easily feel 1 ambien if i don't take them in a daily manner. I take 40mg diazepam/day.

Is the ROA oral?? What specific benzo are you referring to??

^ ? valium of course.. it's in the thread title, and every singe post in this thread

and i think it's safe to assume any benzo consumption is oral (unless stated otherwise or in some recreational instances)

^^ yeah, incomplete cross tolerance definitely lets you still get high on your drug class of choice, even if you use daily. i could get a buzz on oxycodone when i was on daily methadone or poppies or bupe for example, and i'll take 1mg xanax and really feel like a nap but been on benzos for years
