Make Other Drugs Great Again
I recently begin an experimental run with the popular heptapeptide Semax found on various websites selling nootropics.

A brief abstract of my experience: It is either injected subcutaneously (was wondering when people were going to start shooting noots lol) or, in my case, as a discrete nasal spray preparation (Semax is ineffective in other ROA's). Contrary to the name, Semax, it does not increase your ejaculate, but rather it provides an almost instant effect that I can only describe as a 'zen' feeling; the same feeling one gets after a demanding physical workout: increases in mood, confidence and crystal clear thoughts along with slight analgesia. As great as it sounds it is not going to get you high - it is a natural feeling, not a synthetic one. Unlike most nootropics I've sampled I can say that it has an effect that you will feel after the first dose without second-guessing yourself whether it's placebo.

I truly believe that the future of nootropics, brain enhancement, longevity, etc lies in peptides & biologics, but I digress.

I recently picked up a new batch of Etizest after voluntarily taking a month vacation from GABAA & GABAB agonists and PAM's. Normally Etizolam would cause a significant amount of amnesia during at least the first week especially since I use supratherapeutic doses of 3MG thrice a day.

This has been the first time I have integrated Semax in my regimen. I notice a remarkable alleviation of side effects - most notably amnesia as well as a lessening of negative cognitive effects. I can subjectively attest to Semax not dulling or counteracting any of the recreational effects of Etizolam & benzodiazepines - unless memory blackouts & cognitive impairment are your idea of recreation.

I rarely start threads but felt that this certainly warranted a topic for discussion. I don't imagine many of you have used nootropics in this way, but would love to know if anyone else has done the same, and if not, perhaps I have inspired some to try it yourself.

Lastly, Semax has been extensively studied in Russia, where it is given to victims of stroke and others with cognitive impairments with remarkable effect.

This thread does not have to be about specifically Semax itself, but rather the use of nootropics to counteract the negative amnesiac and cognitive impairment.
