Misc Using Hydroxycut for Energy/Speeding

A friend of mine gave me a shit ton of Hydroxycut that she shop-lifted from our local grocery store. Since I dont have the box, I dont know much about the information on the label, but I did look up how its meant to be taken: One pill 3x a day for 3 days, then Two pills 3x a day after.

However, that is for weightloss. I am only interested in the energy benefits (if I lose weight along the way so be it, but Im already thin *shrugs*)

Does anyone know more bout the ingredients in Hydroxycut? Can it be used to get wired? I would really appreciate any information

A friend of mine used to use it and claims that the "good stuff" was taken out of it a few years back. I forget the whole story, but he was using it as a steroid replacement for many years (and it showed) but upon quitting he just got fat xD.

He told me that he doesn't suggest taking it now. I've never personally used it, but I believe this guy because he was really into weight lifting at the time and he was cut like a stone when he was taking it. I thought I'd throw it out there. Hopefully someone else that knows better than me can point you in the right direction.
 
Thanks, haha. Hopefully I dont get fat... but I dont have really any experience with any uppers besides experimentation (the occassional line or two of the good stuff usually, that is to say, "powder". but even that ive only done 3 times in my life). I am a downer guy, but Im skinny, so Im hoping that being skinny prior to using the hydroxycut will prevent me from getting fat after. >.<

Like I said, Im really interested in the energy benefits, but I dont know enough about it.. It seems safe, considering its suggested to take six a day at most. I was thinking of maybe taking one an hour for about five hours... I think that might produce good stimulation (its how ive read its best to take caffeine), but I dont want to try it in that large of an amount/frequency without talking to someone who has maybe used it for energy before, you know? Or at least ssomeone who knows more about the blend of ingredients, because my friend told me there are many of them
 
You'll be better off picking up a bottle oh Ephedrine HCl. Hydroxycut just feels like the equivalent of drinking a cup or two of coffee and taking a multi-vitamin.
 
Sure it is, pseudoephedrine is of course legal, but you have to ask the pharmacy for it and they take your information or something so you don't buy a ton at once to use as a precursor for methamphetamine. So it is legal, just on watch. (Just FYI, pseudoephedrine is not the only thing that can be synthesized into methamphetamine, methylamine is one other I know of, just seems to be the favorite as the process is pretty easy.)
 
I do not plan on synthesizing anything into anything, lol. I just want to use the product in its current form. Pseudoephedrine, is not the same chemical as Ephedrine. Ephedrine, is not legally available here anymore.
 
Good point, I think that is true. IMHO, I don't see what hydroxycut would have over a cup of coffee or a five hour energy. As far as dosage goes, try 1 or 2 and see how that goes first.
 
Yeah, I feel ya. Hydroxycut has a lot more ingredients, but as its been said before, most of them probably dont amount to anything more than a multi-vitamin. I think you are right about dose, Im just going to try it out, and see where it goes from there. I have noticed, that in the last couple days (ive been taking one in the morning, for a little energy boost), my stomach has gotten pretty tight ^_^
 
Shucks, I'd take some home brewed, fresh mate over caffeine vitamin pills ANY day... Almost certainly would be better for you. Yup, and I'm also not a fan of psuedoephedrine. Too many side effects for too little euphoric stimulation... Just m .02. You certainly don't need to take it, and please feel free to leave it ;)
 
Ephedrine is available in the US diggity, i've bought it before.
