Using HGH to increase neurogenesis

Did you read something that suggested HGH produces a neurogenic effect? If you can edit your first post to include that reading this could still drive some interesting discussion.

I'm plenty familiar with the physical effects of growth hormone, my question is solely regarding it's effects on helping to reverse drug inducted neurotoxicity/brain injury.

I'm using the GH for bodybuilding but I also abused amps very heavily for years and am curious about any potential positive effects it could have on neurogenesis. It seems as though a good portion of us that are involved in steroids and other PEDs are reformed drug addicts, I was hoping some could share anecdotal experiences as I really haven't found much online regarding scientific studies.
 
I am sure HGH helps replenish a lot of things but using it to correct the neuro toxic damages of drug use is just a lil bit to on the fringe of the power of this hormone.
 
Well I know hgh causes the body to produce new aromatase at a quicker rate so it doesn't seem too farfetched for it to cause growth of new neurotransmitter receptors and other neuro tissue..
 
No its in the realm of possibilities, but the probabilities of it being used specifically for this purpose is not that good. I mean lets look at it this way, PCP is one hell of a great anesthetic/dissociative on paper. But but in practice the sides were a bit shall we say much. So while a drug may have the potential, the possible is always different hell look at the compounds we use, the vivo vs vitro testing we use as guidelines are just that, they can be off in application.

I mean hell Id live it if it really did some great repair I know my brain needs it: in spades lol
 
Apparently back in the day they tried to say steroids didn't help with muscle growth :/
