Misc (URGENT) painkiller question

I'm asking the fucking questions!
today i went to the dentists to get a nerve removed from a tooth. i am in ALOT of pain right now and i need to know if its safe to mix

120mg codeine
800mg ibuprofen
2000mg APAP
100mg tramadol

Please get back to me quick so i can get a bit of pain relief.
 
id leave out the APAP even tho it's not a dangerous dose.. the other 3 should work fine. If an hour after taking the other 3 you still have no relief than you could take the APAP if you wanted.
 
You can do a Cold Water Extraction to get the APAP out, google it, it takes 30 minutes and all you need is a cup, water, and some form of filter (a shirt, a paper towel, coffee filter, etc).

oh iight, didn't realize that.. you should be all set, i just thought they were separate pills and i don't really like taking APAP just cuz of all the liver bullshit and i drink a few beers daily so i try to avoid it, but it should be safe to take. The daily limit is said to be 4000mg i think so you're only taking half that.
 
Honestly I wouldn't worry about doing a CWE. The APAP will combine with the codeine for extra pain-killing. If you're not taking high doses of APAP every day you'll be fine. Don't ever take more than 4000 mg at a time. You'll lose some of the codeine with a CWE as well, and you need it for pain it seems like!

Its possible to remove a nerve from a tooth? I did not know that. You'd think if they removed the nerve, there would be no pain...I guess I'm not a dentist though.... :p
 
didnt anybody know that your not supposed to mix tramadol and ibuprofin, or any nsaids for that matter....

1) Do NOT post "URGENT" or "QUICK ANSWER PLEASE" or anything like that in the title of your thread. Your question is no more important than the next person's thread, and a thread like this is especially far less urgent than some of the other situations we deal with here.

2) We do not allow questions like this in OD. If you have a question about a combination of drugs, it should be posted in Basic Drug Discussion. As for this question, you could have Googled each drug and figured out if it would have been dangerous to mix with the others.
