I am prescribed 8mg suboxone a day and I have been taking it for almost two months.

I have used heroin about 5 times during that time period - I would stop taking suboxone a day or two before I used the H then I would wait til I was sick to take it.

On friday I took 5mg of suboxone at 6pm. Saturday night I took 2mg of suboxone at 1am. Yesterday/today[sunday/early monday morning] I did heroin at 3am.

I do not necessarily take my suboxone every day - for example I may take it 2 or 3 days in a row and then not take it for a day or two until I feel a little sick and I will take it.

Now heres the tricky part. I have reserved a bed at a rehab clinic for December 6th.
THEY DO NOT HAVE DETOX SERVICES THERE! They sometimes will accept a patient who is detoxing if they are almost done detoxing but if I am really sick they will not let me in.

If I could turkey it will I be detoxed by then? What meds, if any, can I use to detox myself with?

Basically - will I be okay to go into the rehab on dec 6th or should I wait until the 7th or maybe even the 8th?
 
I started my detox on the 13th, so today is day 16 and I'm still not 100% myself. Still shitting liquid, hot w/chills, no energy, stomach ache, no appetite.
 
:Dim in the same state man... on last Thurs i took my last half of an 8mg.. I waited for 48 hrs and i took 30mg of Methadone and 2mg Klonopin. I also smoked a little heroin later that night and felt really good.I slept amazing.. I havnt smoked dope since last weds.. so i was 5days clean before i smoked my 3 hits... (dont ask my how i hung onto it while withdrawaling,) but i did.

So today im taking another 30mg methadone and a 2mg klonopin to get me through today.. and i dont know if my withdrawals will come back tomorrow or not.. I thought after detoxing for 4/5 days w/o heroin it would take atleast 3 constant days of atleast $20 or more of dope to get sick again. But we will see. I think i will be okay, tomorrow i wont use any of them, and I will use a suboxone this time tomorrow.

But another question to you, is why are you going to a rehab if you are clean?? For the life-building 12 step program B.S?? Well i cant hate on it, because really it is REALLY good thing for SOME people.. SOME people jst know themselves well enough to get through these things. And in most cases those meetings are just get togethers for addicts, and once u walk out you will get bumped on the shoulder and asked if you want to get anything... the dealers hang out there.. its fuckd up.

Another thing, you would get sick after stopping everything for 2 days and then smoking H for the next?? .. you would be sick the day after that? or that evening?? I figure if yu can go 2 days without ay subs... you are in your head... 2 days off anything you are in sobriety.. you dont need anything else.. unless u wanna dabble, which is what im doing...

But i think u do what a lot of us addicts do... you emphasis and catalauge every feeling, ache and pain, anxiety all of that builds up in your mind and you make it a reality. Youre brain is a powerful tool man, you gotta keep yourself busy and use things like trazadone to sleep...

Anyway, im no experienced pharmacist or anyhting.. but im an experienced drug addict, lol sounds soo bad... but its true, so im shedding with you what i know.. GL!
 
Okay so a little update. My withdrawal is not that bad and it could possibly almost be over. This is very strange, it is a MUCH easier withdrawal than when I was using 3 grams of heroin a day.
