could you help me out with this one---
i had to write this about a dream i had and i just wanted to run it by a few people before i turned it in the second time...
my teacher kinda scoffed at me when i got it back today...

I see the way out
i drag myself to the path
and listen as my feet play
familar tunes on the worn floor
vaguely reminding me of an old tuba
belting music out past its golden valves
Stopping to look at the distant faces, frozen
and tacked to the wall
I search the sparkling eyes for the reason why
I was smiling
The hall curved slowly to the door
past windows, i don't want to look out of,
and shadows that i tip-toe around
I reach the door
and shut it
confident and happy
I stride back down the hallway
