One week ago to the day, I hear what sounds to be a cat fight in the neighborhood at 3am, and the next day my neighbors cat turns up dead on someones doorstep but no sign on physical harm. 
Tonight, I go out for a smoke, and what sounds to be another cat fight in progress can be heard. Again at exactly 3am.
It's probably just strange coincidence but I have to say, it strikes me as rather odd. I'm really going to be creeped out if tomorrow plays out similar to last Monday.
