I’d like to share one of the best meals after the use of MDMA or any empathogen which drains and inhibits serotonin functioning.

In order to replace that serotonin one must eat a diet rich in tryptophan. A bowl of chili contains multiple foods which are at the top of the list in tryptophan content. Red meat, beans, tomatoes, and cheese/sour cream on top.

It also has a decent antioxidant potential as the tomatoes are cooked making the lycopene more bioavailable, it has garlic and onion which have some of the highest antioxidant potential of all vegetables due to their flavonoid glycosides, peppers which contain more Vit C than oranges, and in the recipe I’ll provide honey and cocoa powder as well with even more bioavailable flavonoids.

It’s slow cooked easy to digest nature further adds to the bioavailability of the nutrients within. And what makes this roller friendly is the ability to cook this long before the session then have it in the fridge ready to re-heat when the time comes. Another option would be to start the slow cooker before dosing then let it go until you are ready to eat after the session.

Then to finish off with something sweet we’ll do a smoothie also high in tryptophan and antioxidants.

A smoothie containing banana, pineapple, mango, walnuts, milk/oatmilk and honey is perfect. All of which either contain tryptophan, antioxidants or both.

Remember when using honey for its antioxidant potential it MUST be raw, unfiltered and unpasteurized. Use grass fed and finished beef. And of course organic everything. (You can shell out the extra cash for this, hopefully special, occasion.)

Chili Recipe:

  • 2 pounds ground beef, grass fed and finished
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 large jalapeno peppers, minced (remove the seeds and veins for less heat…leave them for more heat)
  • 1/4 cup chili powder
  • 3 tablespoons ground cumin
  • 2 tablespoons ground cayenne pepper, Or more if you like a lot of heat!
  • 2 tablespoon crushed red pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup honey (raw, unfiltered)
  • 1 – 28 ounce can tomato sauce
  • 1 – 28 ounce can crushed fire roasted tomatoes
  • salt and pepper to taste

  • In a large frying pan, brown the ground beef until no longer pink and transfer to the slow cooker using a slotted spoon. Drain off all but two tablespoons of fat and add the onions to the pan.
  • Cook the onions over med-high heat until they begin to soften. Add the peppers to the onions and sauté until softened. Add the garlic and jalapeno peppers, cooking for one minute longer. Transfer the mixture to the slow cooker with the beef.
  • Add the chili powder, cumin, cayenne pepper, cocoa powder, crushed red pepper, sweet peppers and juice to the beef mixture and stir to combine.
  • Add the honey, tomato sauce and crushed tomatoes stirring thoroughly to be sure all the ingredients are incorporated. Season with salt and pepper to taste and cook in the slow cooker on high for 3-4 hours or low for 5-6 hours.
  • Serve with your favorite chili toppings, greek yogurt, sour cream, shredded cheddar, green onions, and pickled jalapenos…just to name a few.

Smoothie Recipe:

  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup milk (if dairy free sub with yogurt and milk with 2/3 cup oatmilk)
  • 1 cup frozen diced mango*
  • 1 ½ cups fresh pineapple
  • 1 banana (room temperature, broken into chunks)
  • ½ cup ice cubes
  • 1 drizzle maple syrup or honey, if desired**
  1. Place all ingredients in a blender in the order listed, breaking the banana into pieces. Blend until creamy and frothy, stopping and scraping down the sides as necessary, and adding a bit more liquid if necessary.
  2. Taste and if necessary, add a drizzle of honey depending on the ripeness of your pineapple (you likely will not need it). Serve immediately or store in a covered jar in the refrigerator for 1 day.

Very good diet and good way to do this or one can take allot of 5 HTP as well and eat loads of Turkey breast meat which loaded with Tryptophan. Me I like the NAPALM effect while rolling and like to school the Festival Ravers of youth today , invest int best BodyBuilding Protein powders...my favorite is Syntha 6 and Bodytech Micellar Casein which dumps loads of Tyrosine and Tryptophan , Glutamine and probably gram or two of other Brain amino's fast and furiously. Take this SH** serious because throwing matches ie any E-PILL rC or actuall XTC with this will be like starting a bonfire in the body and then shooting napalm on that fire! God what I would not give to get few cases of Old Blue Thunder for big festivals....Yeah! Hydrating and fueling like did it in 1990's. Did that allot with girlfriend then at warehouse raves. That stuff was awesome and tasted great too.

Love it. I agree with Hardtack about the 5htp, as I believe TPH is destroyed by MD, so you need some 5htp.

Honestly I’ve always felt 5-htp made my comedowns worse overall. It helps for a day or two but then I’d feel even shittier and for longer than normal.

Everyone’s different though. Some people seem to love it afterwards.

I always wait 24 hours before taking 5htp. When I take it sooner, I don’t feel well, perhaps to the long half lives of metabolites. I don’t know.

I have also had mixed results with 5HTP, and feel that it sometimes enhances my comedown. I think this may be due to receptors being downregulated, and the additional stimulation may make them downregulate further.

In recent years, I have had good luck with multi-vitamins, methylated b12, Omega 3 from Algae, & electrolytes.

This just sounds like damn good chili though, so I am going to make up a batch. Thanks for the recipe!

I haven't rolled in a couple of months but this had me craving a nice chili anyway :D

Big ups for making me want something that isn't a drug ;) jk

I love putting lots of beer in it, and lots of chili

Like 1 or 2 bottles/cans, usually a light crisp lager beer. Corona or budweiser seem very appropriate.

Although hoppy beers are more interesting from a nutrition POV since they are a great source of dietary silicon :D
