(UK) Could you plant poppy seeds (or just poppies) and then use them to make PST?

Perfectly legal too. The act of growing the pods that is. Making tea from them magically turns them into class A drugs.
 
Poppy seeds have Opium do to the process of them being harvested by machines and the pods tore up and the Opium coating the seeds. So if you just grow poppies the pod will be whats active and you make tea from. This what i read somewhere at least, might be wrong. Im sure there is some degree on them when they just grow but its probably irrelevent because the Latex holds the goods.
 
The goods are all thru out the plant leaves seeds stems and pods.forget about the roots.the reason the pods have the latex is bcoz when scored they bleed latex,if a plant is harvested and boiled in water filtered and evaporated down to a syrup you'll end up with a black tar full of morphine.the latex is just the way they do it over there in 3rd world countries where you can get 100 ppl to work a full day for $100.in first world countries where ppl get paid $100 each perday it isn't feasible to extract the latex by scoring the pods.thats when they just cut down the poppies after the seeds mature with a harvestor.then they boil them up in water like a big tea and go from there to prescription tablets.its extremely labor intensive to extract the latex
 
I got a bit off topic there yes you can plant seeds and grow your own pods.id highly recommend trying it.

All through out the plant except the seeds. The seeds are covered with some latex because when the pods are cut or scored deeper than it is supposed to, latex gets in contact with the seeds. There's no Alkoloids inside the seeds.
